The Diary Game [10-01-2024]// Attending A Planning Meeting

Hello steemians sure everyone had a great day and is fine. As for me the past days have have been amazing. One thing about starting the year is the amount of meetings you have to attend to plan the year effectively.

For me I have been having a series of meetings with my team to plan the year. So my day was about the meeting. So I woke up very early at about 7AM. I took a bath and went for our planning meeting. The meeting started at 8AM and we started with an opening prayer, after the opening prayer we moved to the planning phase.

We had several talks about leadership and we did a lot around strategy. We spoke about the SWOT Analysis, PESTEL. SWOT Analysis stands for the Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats of any business. It involves evaluating your internal and external environment of your business and understanding what you need to do beat your competitors.

PESTEL on the hand also looks at those factors that affect the organization. These factors are political, economical, Social, Technological, Environmental and Legal factors that affect the organization. These factors looks at the environment the business lives in and evaluates what needs to be done by the business to keep it afloat.

The meeting was full of brainstorming and exchange of ideas which was very exhausting. We finally ended the meeting by 5:30PM and We are now reporting to see how we maximize the ideas we developed and the strategies we developed. In all planning I must say is very important and evaluating your weaknesses and strengths are super important to be able to thrive and grow.
