The Diary Game [15/01/2024] Watching the Cameroon Match

Hello steemians hope everyone had a great day. The long awaited day had come. Cameroons first match at the AFCON. Well I was in Yaounde and had a very tight schedule.

So I woke up at about 9AM, and started my day with some negotiations for some equipments. The negotiations took the vast majority of the day. I was at Etougebe in Yaounde with a Cameroon filmmaker Ak St Zero.

I left from there to Avenue Kennedy. The famous Avenue where there are a lot of thieves and bandits who can rob you in broad day light. I actually went there to check on some equipments too. There are saw photography lights and equipment.

I later on bought the Equipment and passed by the Yarha film festival before heading back to my hotel.

Later that night I went to Ngoakele campus to watch the match at a fan zone organized by some friends. The match was full of mixed feelings. When they scored Cameroon it is only then that I knew how much patriotism Cameroonians have. It was painful but so hilarious to get the comments just to name a few. Luckily for us Cameroon scored so it was a draw game and we divided the points.

I think one thing outstanding about this year's AFCON is the fact that there are so many surprises and there is no underdog. The small teams are surprising the seemingly big teams. Cameroon's next match is against African football giants Senegal. Hopefully we win and get some guarantee to go to the next level. As it stands the tournament will seemingly be the best in a long time in terms of quality and play.
