The Diary Game (24-12-2023): Christmas day Preparations

Hello steemians it's the Christmas season and I hope and trust we are all well. I am happy to share with you all how my day was and the interesting things I was able to do.

I don't know about your church, but during this Christmas season we have services back to back. So yesterday was Sunday normally and Christmas eve too. So we had just one service.

The service started at 7AM and we had serious singing and dancing. The church was full and for the first time I was really amazed by the joy in the church. The pastor preached and songs were sung. The service finally ended at about 10:30AM.

I left from there to the hospital to visit a friend who put to birth to a bouncing baby girl.
From the hospital I went home where I changed and started roasting pork. For us every Christmas we have the tradition of killing a big and using it for the celebration and festive season. So I usually leave church and go kill it with my dad and we roast and cook some then keep some in the fridge.

I roasted the pork for about 4 hours. The process demands Good fire and patience too. When I was done roasting I put my small "soya" as we call it here and ate.
After roasting the pork I took a bath and went to town to get a Christmas gift for a friend. I finally got a jersey and from there I went for a birthday party with some friends.

The birthday party was cool actually. It was a baby's birthday party but with friends we drank till about 9PM and just kept chatting and enjoying every moment.
I retired home and then spent time with my family. My nieces and nephews at home for holidays.
It was a great day and I'm looking forward to the Christmas experience in ghost town.
