Hi steemians. It's another day with another story..
So I woke up at 5:40 am with the help of my alarm. I was really tired from the previous day so it was not an easy thing for me to get out of bed.
I said my prayers and went to check on my mother.
Surprisingly she was already up and she had heated her water to take her bath..
I heated the left over fried rice we had cooked and then I went to take my bath as well.
At about 7:30 am, we were both set to leave the house.
The best thing then happened. My father called me. After more than a month of no talking.
His mission in the North was over and he was returning home with my sister and cousin..
My mom and I were so excited, at some point I thought maybe he had lost his life in a shoot out or something.
I went to school and headed for a class. It didn't hold due to a seminar so I went to the lab for a practical session..
After the session, I left school and went to the home were I offer extra lessons to 2 kids. One is form 3 and the other in form 1 . I started with the older one since he is presently writing exams..
He was attentive and we finished in time for me to teach his brother. When I was done , I decided to go home and rest.
I got home at about 6:30pm and laid on my bed till I fell asleep.
I woke up at 8pm and watched tv for a while. I wasn't hungry so I ate an apple , drank much water and retired to my room.

This kind of news only announces happiness, I remember while I was in primary school and my dad left for a mission too and we didn't talk by then neither did I know he was leaving. It was after two months he came back that I understood how important it is to have your dad around. Worst was that phone calls were very expensive by then hahaha some of you weren't born yet😂.
Happy he is around the corner and bringing your siblings along. I can imagine the joy in those Hearts. Courage with those kids you doing a great job.
