The Diary Game:23/09/2021

woke up at around 3:25am when my phone beeped. I had forgotten to turn down the volume and switch it to vibration. When I saw the time, I decided to place the phone on charge. I did and then I remembered what woke me. When I checked the message, it was from my sister saying >help me I'm dying.

I quickly jumped up and sprinted to her room. When I entered, she was laying with tears in her eyes. Her face was red and swollen. Tears welled up in my eyes. I asked her what was happening but she could barely talk. She kept pointing to her head to signify she had a headache. It then hit me that she had complained of that before we went to bed.
I went into my room and rummaged through my cupboard to get some tramadol which I kept for such reasons.
I gave her 2 pills with some water and helped her sit up. She was also burning up with a fever.
The sight of she and my nephew on the bed so sick and lifeless broke my heart.

I went my parents' room to alert them of the situation. They joined me in my sister's room. We prayed for her and watched over her for a bit.
Later on, I got a towel and soaked in water, then placed on her forehead.

After that, we couldn't sleep. My mom and I went to the kitchen and started cooking since my sister who usually does it is sick.

I did the dishes and cleaned the kitchen. My brother later woke up and helped in making salad.
After that I went to bathe and I left for the shop.
I got to the shop at about 6:50 am. I wasn't feeling my usual self but I said a short prayer to God as I sat outside staring at the passing population of people.

I spent time watching YouTube comedy videos so that I could cheer up a little. Later on, I switched to getting updates in the entertainment industry. That's when I saw a post from Popnable.com which listed one song of Indira twice (as 2nd and 4th) of the top 100 most popular songs in Cameroon.

It annoyed me cause they are always very inaccurate with their listings. Yet they claim to take automated votes.
I left the site and decided to read a newly gotten novel in my phone. But just then, my brother came back from making his ID. He had finally succeeded. We talked for a while and my dad also came around. After talking to us about life, my dad left and we continued talking. I showed him some videos I had gotten on YouTube and we laughed. He got us some chicken. We are as we continued watching the videos.

At about 5pm, my bestie, Claire came to say hi. She was just passing by though. I used the opportunity to tease her about
new discovery I made concerning her. It was funny seeing her reaction.
I then went to see her off and we talked a little more before she took a taxi to her destination. I went back to the shop where I met my brother about leaving too.
When he did, I started listening to some music.
By 7pm, my mum joined me on her way back from a meeting. We parked and went home.
On getting home, I served food to everyone and went to make myself some eggs to eat with bread and some Lipton with a touch of lemon to enhance the flavor.
After eating, I said my prayers and went to bed.
