The Diary Game || [09/02/2025] Missing Church Service, And Paying A Visit To A Friend

Beautiful morning my amiable elites across the globe, it's your girl @missyleo again. Happy new week to everyone here, God has been faithful to us despite ourselves. Please kindly permit me to share my daily routine with you here.

I just decided not to attend church service last Sunday because I wanted doing some cleaning and reshaping my house, since it's only on Sundays that I have as a resting day and also to help myself around the house.

Since I had it in mind that I won't be going to church service, so in that case there was no point of me waking up very early as usual to start preparing, I just lay on my bed till 10am before I lazily woke up.

I started by clearing my kitchen items, swept and cleaned up all the dirt out of the space then I rearranged everything in a different places, making it look more beautiful and new, though the process wasn't an easy one to be accomplished, as it actually took me about 3 hours plus to finished up with the whole cleaning.

Before I could eat my first meal of that day it was about 12noon, I removed soup from the fridge and warm and ate with foofoo, my neighbors daughter that was helping me out with the cleaning said she wants to drink garri and groundnut, that she doesn't want to swallow.

After I finished eating I went and took my bath, then I dressed up and went to my tailor's house to get my dress. The sun was shining very hot and I was just sweating like a Christmas goat 🤣, when I got to her compound I had to take one shoot.

I didn't spend much time in her place because I wanted to go see one of my friend and she has given me time frame she will be at home, that was why I didn't waste time in my tailors place.

After getting my cloth from her, I went back home and changed into it before heading to my friend's place. We had some business to discussed on, so we did that discussion briefly because she too had another engagement to meet up with.

So we stepped out, entered the same tricycle, she dropped on the way while I proceeded home, though I stopped by the road side to buy some fruit (cucumber), since I knew I was going to cook rice and I love garnishing my rice with cucumber.

After paying for my fruit, I went home and started doing my cooking of rice. I wanted cooking small jellof rice but as I got home and checked my ingredients I discovered that I did not have tomatoes, which is the major ingredient for the jellof rice.

I changed my mind immediately because I wasn't ready to buy anything again, so I later cooked a normal concoction rice. Below are the pictorials sample of my cooking.

After I have put all the ingredients in the pot of rice, I mixed it all together then covered the pot and allowed it to cook for about 30minutes. Later when I checked the rice it was done and ready to be consumed.

I dished out plenty of it because I was going to eat it with my neighbors children since they were in my house.

As we were done eating, one of them carried the dishes to go wash while the other one swept the room.
That was how my day ended. Until my next diary friends, enjoy the rest of the week.
