The Diary Game|| It's My Birthday Today, Please Wish Me Well

Happy Valentine's Day to everyone here, the excitement in my heart is next to none as I'm typing this my post, I'm just feeling butterflies in my belly, because it is my birthday 🫣.

I couldn't even sleep well last night just because I was so anxious to be born today and so that I can wish myself a happy birthday in a different ways. By 5am I was already up, did my personal devotion till 6 :30am as I was carried away with the soul-lifting worship I was playing on my phone.

I got prepared for work, before leaving I had prepared and packaged my food in my lunch bag so that I can eat when I break from the fast I was doing. It wasn't in my plan to be on fast that morning but during my devotion time, I was lead my the Holy Spirit to be on fast till 12noon.

Getting to the office I was the first person that was there, because I arrived there so early at about 7:40am. So I waited outside for the rest of my colleagues to start coming especially the key-holder.

Few minutes before 8am all of them started walking in one after the other, we all entered the office. We did the opening prayer and and that a prayer was made for me concerning my birthday.

After the prayer, my colleagues all sang a birthday song for me while one of my colleague @queenesthy took a photo of me though it was too clear.

After the whole merriment for me, we dispatched to our different session to arrange the goods item and also fix up any lapses.

We didn't really have much customers today maybe it's because of the Valentine's day, but we have so many unfinished duties in ground to be done, so we switched on to that section.

We had new arrival (new goods), so we were handling the sorting and the pricing of the new items and placing them in their session.

We continue in the sorting of the items till it was time for lunch, I allowed the rest of my colleagues to go first while I used that time to say few words of prayer to God before I can break the fast. Few minutes the two persons that went eating came back, I and my other colleague went to eat ours.

After we finished eating and came back to our session, a male customer came in and purchased one item and left . We were still working on price tagging and sorting of the items.

So later on. one of my colleague stepped outside, 5 minutes later she came in with flowers 🌺 in her hands, she started sharing the flower to everyone of us in the office, since we didn't have any Val partner, so she decided to be our Val partner by sharing us a flower she plugged out the office space.

We have to gist and laugh about the whole single, we laughed about our singleness and how married couples are not letting us breathe.

It was time for our closing and we parked in the display goods outside and put them in the store house, then locked the door and off we went home.

But I didn't go back home direct because a pastor friend of mine decided to gift me a birthday gift and I was to mention what I want, so I was to meet with him at where I'm to get the gift.

What I had in mind was a sneakers because the old one I have I've outgrown it and I am going to make use of it this coming Sunday.

Getting to where I will make the choice, I called him and he said should pick the one I like and tell him the price, that I did and he drop down there and made the payment.

After making the payment, he took me to one of the chicken spot and bought me roasted chicken, fries potatoes and soft drink to step down.

After all the eating and drinking, he drop me back to my house before he dropped back to his house. I was so happy and filled with excess joy in my heart, because the that sneakers, that's the best birthday gift I've gotten and I'm grateful to God.

Coming back home, my neighbor that used to roast chicken also had kept chicken, salad and soft drink for me, I was already filled and wasn't ready to eat anything again but I was forced to eat it again because for the past 3 days we've experienced black-out here and as such, I can't preserve the chicken and salad, so I decided to devour it again that this night.

As I finish eating I remembered I didn't snap the full picture of my new sneakers, so I removed it from the nylon and took a picture of it, though it is not clear since I don't have electricity.
