Warm greetings my beloved of Cameroon and other steemians across the entire globe. It's a new week already and I believe you're super strong for the week because God is going to perfect everything that concerns you this week.
I was awake as early as 4am, brushed my teeth and took my bath sharply, I started arranging my bag and my belongings, which are my church wear, shoe, handbag and other sort of dressing adornment, before I finished with all the preparation it was about few minutes to 6am.
I was going to one of my church member's house, we were to meet in her house to cook the church food since we having our grand finale of our convention that very Sunday.
So as I got there the other people have started preparing the food items, so I came and joined them in the preparation. We were to cook afang soup and porridge plantain. They were already preparing the planet hand.
I was to cook the afang soup, I begins with slicing the waterleaf, then I went into pounding the afang.

After I was done pounding the afang I also pound the crayfish and the fresh pepper and set aside before I began to prepare the soup.
I was actually waiting for the other person to finish cooking the plantain so that I can take over the fire sport. It was firewood we used in cooking the soup since it was a large food.
It didn't take me much time to prepare the soup, besides preparing afang soup doesn't take much time especially when you have prepared and arranged all your ingredients and set aside for the cooking proper.
The soup was done in few minutes and I boiled water in large quantity and prepared plenty garri, since we didn't want to use fufu because some people doesn't eat fufu, that was why I went for garri so that we won't receive any complain.
When were all done cooking, we turned the soup and plantain into a different cooler to keep in still hot till the time we will be sharing the food omg the members.

After putting the fishing it into the cooler, the remaining one we then joined hand and ate before we went inside the house to freshened up and wear our dresses so that we can move to church.
Before we finished with the cooking and freshening up, it was about 9:30am. Our leader in the church have started calling on us to hasten up because church program have started already.

We finished dressing up and off we went to the church with the food in their different coolers. Thank God we meet up as the praise session was still going on.
I find a place ans settled down in the choir seat. The church program went on gradually, we have different families presentations, like song rendition from different families.
That's my family group photo with my pastor and the wife in the middle. This was taken after our song presentation and our thanksgiving speech.
After all the presentations from all the different families, the pastor preached a little sermon about thanksgiving, he charge us to be appreciative with the little we have by showing thanks to who deserves it.
After the preaching my pastor prayed for everyone and the church dismissed, but I had to take few pictures before going to meet up with my family members for the sharing of food.
After all the eating and merriment, we all dispatched back to our different house and I was left to wash and clean all the used plates coolers of food and returned them back to their different owners.
People are to their satisfaction and some portion of the porridge plantain remained in the cooler, so I packed it and carried it home since it's not allot waste food.
As I got home it was very late in the night and I was so tired, exhausted and hungry too. I just took a cold bath then I warm the food and ate a little of it before I retire to bed.
