Assalam-o-Alaikum friends!

Welcome to my post. I'm @moazzamushtaq and I hope that you all will be fine and will be enjoying your life by the grace of Almighty Allah. I'm also fine and enjoying my life. Friends, I'm here today for participating in the contest organized by Steem cameroon. In this post I am going to write about "New Year's day". So get started without anymore waiting;

New Year's day

Friends, New Year's Day is a very significant in all over the world, In this day celebration marks the start of a new year in our lives. New Year's time is a time for reflection, setting new resolution and often involves traditions unique to various cultures of different countries.For many people it is a day of farewell to the old year with embracing the commitment of a fresh start.

It symbolizes new beginnings, hope and a chance to achieve our dreams and aspirations which we couldn't achieve in previous year. People in all over the world, the world gather with friends and family, attend parties, fireworks displays and enjoy public events to welcome the incoming year. There is lot to write about new year's day. This day has many and many importance in our lives. New Year's day mean it's a new start for ourselves, a start of our lives with new hopes and inspirations.

In many countries of the world, people are connected with this day culturally. As in Spain and some Latin American countries, it's custom to eat twelve grapes at midnight of new year. They do so because they think every grape is a symbol of twelve months of the next year and it will bring good luck and happiness and all these 12 months of year. Beside this, in many others countries of the world people do different according to their customs.

People celebrate this day with a great zeal. Different dishes are cooked for the welcome of new year. It's all depend on people's thoughts. In china, a long celebration is held for the welcome of new year. People of China change their home's goods and decorated their home with new things. On this they they wear red colour clothes because it's their customs.

This day is also serves as reminder of passage of time and it shows us that how short is life. It encourages us to work on our achievements and learn from challenges and experiences from the past year, helping us learning and grow as individually.

For me it's not only a day but it's a new beginning for me. On this I do commitment to myself for more focus on my goals. On this day, I promised to myself for achieving my goals by giving my whole intentions to my work. I have welcomed a new year with a great zeal. I will learn about my experiences and challenge from the past year, will not do mistakes again which I did previous year and will more focus on my dreams.

Conclusion

Ultimately, it's not only a date change but a a new beginning of our lives. We should learn from our past experiences and should work for the betterment of this world. That's it.

So friends this is all about my today post. It is a very nice competition and I participated in this competition with great pleasure.
