The Diary Game, 14 March 2023

Hello great people, how are y'all doing and how is the steeming going on your side. Hope good. Well more encouragement to every steemian on the platform.

In the morning, i woke up and was asked to make a list of the things i need for school that would be resuming next week. I took some time to draft a list and think about what was lacking in my house at the university area. My mom told me to make the list so that she can see what to add to what i have and buy things that i would be needing for the second semester school resumption. She later told me to put the list on her reading table on Wednesday morning.

My siblings went to school and without preparing breakfast for mom and i had to prepare her breakfast before she goes to work. I went into the room and brought out some money and since my mother likes tea with no sugar, i went to the store by the road and bought two pears, two sachets of overtea, Top milk and three loaves of bread. I came home and met her washing her tshirt, i went to the gas kitchen and warmed some water for tea, when it was hot, i took it to the table and made her tea with natural honey . She got through from outside and came into the house. She drank the tea and ate the bread with the pears. While we were having breakfast, we were discussing some few family issues . After breakfast, i cleared the table.

My elder brother came by to greet, and i went with him to his wifes father's house to take her and his daughter since they went for week end. When we reached there, we waited for his wife to round up the packing, i carried the baby and held her back as we left. They dropped me at house, left and went fo their house. I came home and rested for some hours.

Towards the evening period, the was serious shooting in my quarter, people who were doing business on tube road ran home. We were indoods for an about two hours. After some minutes we no longer heard the normal bullets sound and heard the armor car sound shooting intensively. We stayed home. I tried to call my siblings who went to school,mom,and tenants that the quarted was not in a good state but they didn't pick the call, so i rather wrote them on WhatsApp before they replied. Later on two of my siblings came bk and i asked them to stay indoors. The tenants children came bk from school and i told them to come into our house since they're still little children of primary school.

After the shooting had subsided, some people went back to the road to continue selling since they're used to the shooting in the quarter . We lated heard that people can not cross yo the next street because the armies are too many there guarding the area. Two of my siblings friends came and sat at our house till almost night fall when we received news that the road is now accessible for the people of the next street.

I was hungry and there was no food, and i had to drink garri, and stayed indoors. My mom came back from the office.
