Today morning i woke up and wasn't sure that the day would be a moving day. We had been getting rumours that Saturday, Sunday and Monday will be a lock down day due to some elections in the country. Early in the morning i was indoors waiting to hear if people would move around the quarter, or cars or bikes. Sometimes even if people are to move around town, our own quarter can be locked because of the nature of the area. I later heard some bikes moving around and cars. I went outside and even though the street wasn't really active, but there were little movements. We heard that no school will open, some children went and came back that the schools were locked. We were around the quarter, and some armies were moving around the streets and keeping the area safe.
I went behind the house and took my clothes out side to wash. I first washed the soft light ones so that they could be getting dry while i washed the three trousers.

After washing the dresses, i assisted my mom who was trying to select dirt from some dried beans to add to corn and prepare conchaf. I don't know if some of y'all would call it corn and beans stew😂, but i always call it conchaf as i grew up hearing it been called that way. We took some minute to select. While selecting it, we had already put corn in the pot to boil with arches of burn wood so that the peals of the corn could swell and we use a collender to wash and peal it when its half ready so that we can wash the beans and add to it and re-boil.
After washing it, we added the beans to it and boiled. I frequently went into the kitchen to control the flames under the pot and increase the heat by adding dry wood. I later got the grinding stone and used to grind the spices that we will use , such as pealed garlic, ginger, and contri onions😄. I don't know how the contri onion is called in proper english but i will make a post when i do my research to about its used and benefits.
When the corn and beans was ready, we had it rinced thoroughly and fried. I went to the road and met my friend, who told me he was coming to my house to plead for some sand to use so he can add cement to it and sement an iron to the ground and lock his water meta because some people in the quarter have been stealing electricity metas and water metas. I came home with him and took him to were we have sand and he carried it and left.
By evening, wasn't feeling as to eat the conchaf that was prepared. I picked my washed cloths and kept inside the house and i went down the street to a lady who sells pufpuf and fried fish. I bought just a slice of fried fish for 100fcfa and ate and came bk home.
