Good evening fellow steemians, hope you all had a great time. Today I will be talking about the effects of bush fires which are one of the devastating environmental challenge faced in most rural communities and in most countries in the world. In this perspective we can term it "bush fires" or "wild fires"and they are a major cause of the climate change crisis. This are often unpredicted fires intentionally or unintentional lighted by humans or drifted by blowing winds into dry vegetations , farm yards or forested areas.

Effects of Bush fires to the environment

Wild fires can be very devastating as they destroy lots of property including plants and animal biodiversity, ecosystems, ranch lands, houses and farm yards. This fires an abundant threat to our environment environment. They influence the impact of climate change by emitting billions of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. The smoke emmited from wildfires pollutes the atmosphere with concentrated gasses that deplete the ozone layer.
Human beings are the number one cause of wildfires . The uncontrollable behavior of man which include reckless smoking and discarding of left over cigarette fire into the environment can result in serious bush fires.
Campfires left unmonitored are also another source of wild fires which inturn can destroy lots of vegetations.
Burning of farm debris or home yard trash in an unsecured space is threatening to the well being of the environment. Strong winds play a major role in escalating this wild fire flames nto farm yards, Forest or feilds especially when lighted on a windy day.
These wild fires take away homes, wildlife, vegetations and soils including soil nutrients. Animals lose their lives and habitats are also destroyed for example; birds, insects, rabbits, rodents and many other species are devastated in the process.

Prevention

Fire tracing homes and farm yards , forested areas and feilds are the best prevention methods. growing natural fire extinguishing plants like sesal hemp can be a good strategy.

Educating the masses on respondsible fire use behaviors starting from cigarette left over disposal to unmonitored camp fires is a way to go.

Limiting the use of fire options in clearing farms, burning debris and trash or plastic waste which inturn pollutes the environment and contaminates the air.

Considering the capacity and direction of the wind when setting up a fire any where for any reason.
Thanks for reading out this article we hope you think not twice only but again and again before lighting up that match stick to introduce a fire.

We need the world 😇

Bush fires wiped away alot of vegetation in Australia and most parts of the world leaving a most polluted atmosphere and a heated earth. We must fight them at all cost.

Actually..... It's really changing the climate and if care isn't taken, we risk being seriously affected negatively.

Thanks for sharing. I didn't know about the sesal hemp. Thank for the knowledge.

One of my greatest fear is about our beautiful wild animals who depends solely on this bushes been burnt down
Protect our wildlife from danger
Nice write-up

Thanks for agreeing with me that it is necessary to protect this animals
