In the contest, I will talk to you about Malaria Day. Malaria is a terrible disease that is transmitted by mosquitoes, the disease is transmitted by a type of female mosquito. Even though the medical system has made great progress, no effective medicine has been discovered for this mosquito-borne disease called malaria. .We can only take some steps to prevent it.

You all know that malaria is a mosquito borne disease but it is a very dangerous disease. To indicate the extent of its menace, we can refer to a survey of 2021, which states "In 2021, 241 million people were infected with this malaria disease and nearly 6 lakh people died due to this disease in many countries of the world." So, understand the disease. We should not be taken lightly.

The disease is more common in the African region and young children are the most affected by the disease. So, to reduce the prevalence of the disease in Africa, they observed 25th April as "Africa Malaria Day". On the day they would conduct various programs to prevent malaria and conduct public awareness campaigns. Later, this day was recognized as International Malaria Day instead of "Africa Malaria Day".

Every year in our country many public awareness activities and campaigns are organized on the occasion of International Malaria Day on 25th April. When I was a student of secondary school, the program of cleaning the grounds of all the schools under the upazila was started by the order of the Nirvihi Magistrate of Kumarkhali Upazila. Divided into groups, they were instructed to clean the courtyards of the homesteads around the school. So we divide the houses in the area and clean them and make the people living in those houses aware about malaria.

I want to invite @waterjoe @jakaria121 @memamun to this contest.
