For Pakistan something most important occurred on March 23, 1940. It is not quite the same as our nation birthday. Pakistan Resolution Day is observed on this day and it is very significant. At that time a group of highly intelligent people came to the conclusion that Muslims in India required their own nation.

Thus in Lahore, they came to the decision to "hey let's have our own nation!" Because of this we celebrate our unity and honor those brave leaders who sacrificed much to maintain our independence on this day each year. It serves as an important reminder of Pakistan founding of which we are all extremely proud.

I have designed a mascot that show the essence of Pakistan Resolution Day. It features the symbols of all four provinces the Minar-e-Pakistan and Mazar-e-Quaid as well as our flag flying proudly.

I also included 23 March to ensure that everyone is aware of the celebration. This mascot makes us all feel proud and united on this historic day by representing our togetherness, history and the fight for freedom.

To further demonstrate our unity as a country I made care to incorporate emblems from each of the four provinces. Boldly written 23 March serves as a reminder of the day we commemorate our nation history and the people who made it possible. It is like a joyful picture book telling Pakistan founding.

Our city has seen many changes since this day. It serves as a powerful reminder of our country strength and solidarity. People gather to remember and reflect the hardships our forefathers endured in order to build Pakistan.

We are proud of our heritage and identity on this day. In addition it inspires us to work together for a brighter future just as our leaders did in the past. Hence it is a day that motivates us to change our community rather than just being a day off from work or school.

Who are the active promoter, and what do you think can be added to have more impact to your community.

Our educators, local government representatives and community leaders actively support Pakistan Resolution Day. To honor this day they plan cultural events and flag-raising rituals to serve as a reminder to everyone of its significance. But we could involve more youth in order to make even more of an impact on our neighborhood.

Perhaps student led events or contests emphasizing patriotism and the importance of Pakistan past could be held. In this way everyone may feel more a part of our tradition and values especially the younger generation.
