Morning Meditation: NO CONDITIONS IN ABBA FATHER

"Your Faith or what we simply call believe" is a reaction or response to the good news. Good news that is too good to be true about the unconditional love of God. The extremely good news that God so loved you/all without strings attached.

Most often we read John 3:16 and put believe as a condition for salvation mean while Objectively God's salvation is fully carried out by Him ; did He succeed in the salvation plan? Absolutely!

Subjectively, many are not yet aware and that's why we preach the good news of His unconditional love. That you are not yet aware of your salvation doesn't mean that it's not been done. He finished it.

Remember we are not saved from an angry God that needed blood but rather we are saved from the lies religion told us about God. Jesus revealed that God is a Father not a monster. Jesus refused to agree with James and John to call down fire as Elijah did because He had a better understanding of how the Father feels about His children.

When James and John asked Jesus to behave like the mighty man of God Elijah Jesus Christ instead rebuked them saying that they don't know what spirit they got: The spirit of the Father doesn't destroy but saves..

Luk 9:55-56 KJV 55 But he turned, and rebuked them, and said, Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of. 56 For the Son of man is not come to destroy men's lives, but to save them.¹

There is absolutely no bad news in the gospel. It's good news.

I can boldly tell you that as great as Elijah was and other major/minor prophets were they didn't fully understand the manner of spirit they were of. This explains why even John , James and even Peter had to learn from Jesus whose main mission was to reveal the Father's heart for humanity.

You remember Ananias and Sapphira members of the early church in Jerusalem?Acts 5.Peter was a Jew and it happened that he was their Pastor. At this time Peter was still teaching more on Judaic values the law of Moses. The same thing Elijah did by calling fire to kill, Peter made it look same for this couple. I know some find it hard getting this. Truth is Jesus Christ demonstrates exactly the will of the Father when a woman caught in the very act was presented to Him in John 8. He didn't kill any.

The good news of God's unfailing and overwhelming love as love is completely threat free. No conditions whatever.

What condemns and makes people guilt driven is the law.

Rom 7:6-8 KJV 6 But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter. 7 What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet. 8 But sin, taking occasion by the commandment, wrought in me all manner of concupiscence. For without the law sin was dead.

Christ Voluntarily satisfied the law and now we are in Christ and Christ in us and we all in God. Our union is the life we have. That is Truth that makes free.
