Greetings to you all dear steemians of steem Cameroon community. I want to share my thoughts with you today about the need for more residential buildings in Cameroon.
First of all I will like to start by defining what a residential building is; A residential building is any building construction and used for the purpose of accommodating occupants it's mostly for private purposes. Whether for long term or short term.
by @newtonb
Types of residential buildings
- Individual houses or private dwellings
- lodging or rooming houses
- Dormitories
- Apartments or flats
- Hotels
Cameroon and the world in general today is growing rapidly especially in the domain of engineering and technology. This is led by infrastructural development. Making life more comfortable and also beautifying the environment. It is also very obvious that this process continuously has the need for specialists who include structural engineers, Architects and technicians to deliver facilities like domestic homes hospitals, parking spaces ,hotels ,good roads to ease movement, churches, schools, and many others that will make man more comfortable.
In other for the specialists to meet the people's needs, they are obliged to undergo academic training and of course attend lots of seminars and workshops in other to puzzle out societal demands.
In conclusion, despite the fact that Cameroon an underdeveloped country, it is still subjected to changes every day, and most of these changes are geared towards economic, demographic and infrastructural development.
Thanks for reading.
I'm @newtonb your favorite engineer

Construction is something that we will always need. The more residential buildings we have, the cheaper the cost of rent...but our engineers need to work hard to produce good projects
