It was on Sunday 5th of September 2021 at about 8:30 p.m that I went to see off a friend of mine and to collect some stuffs from him as well.
After collecting my suffs , I walked for less than 3minutes of which I head several gun shots at about 30 meters away from me. So I stood not knowing which direction to take I wasn't familiar with the area.
The only way to get along was leading to where the incident was actually taking place. Just of sudden I head people crying out loud for help. I tried moving little I could actually see what the shout was about. To my greatest uprise I saw 3 people carrying someone helpless heading to the hospital. The area wa s not still clear so I could walk thugh . waiting to observe a calm environment. Luckily for me, I guys heading towards me also seeking for a means to escape.
They introduce me to a road where we had to swim through a river of about 1½ meters deep. Me not being a fan of water had a lot thinking of I'm going to swim through.
In the water, almost been carried away, I was helped by one of the boys which we succeeded in crossing and finally home
