The Diary Game 10/09/2024 || Day 2 of the lockdown

Hello my beautiful friends, hope you’re all doing well! Today is day 2 of the lockdown and it was a quiet morning. Around 5:00am i heard some loud gunshots that woke me up from bed, when I woke up my parents and siblings were up already trying to figure out where the gunshots were coming from, luckily it was not near so we stayed up from that time till about 6:00am when we had our 1hr morning devotion.I did the opening prayer, worship and my dad preached, it was pretty good and by 7:00am we were done.

After the devotion we went straight to our morning chores, I don’t really do much as far as house work is concerned since I have like 5 junior ones so I do more of working and assisting my parents in providing for the house hold. I tidied the parlor and cleaned the toilet since most of the times my kiddos don’t handle it well.

My day was not a busy one so I was in no haste to do my stuff, after cleaning I went straight to brushing and freshening up. Bad thing was there was no breakfast for us since my mom was fasting she felt like everyone has to too. We had to pressure her to prepare something for us, after she concluded on what she wanted to cook I figured it was going to take forever so I left to go look for something to eat but since it was a ghost town seeing a store was challenging, finally saw one but I could only buy bread and chocolate which I bought and while eating I saw this kids playing football and it really interest me, i watched them for a while and then I headed home, this was around 12noon already.

When I got home I saw my little sister and her friends and they were all seated on the veranda studying, it really saddened my heart because they are supposed to be in school now but because of our town’s situation they can’t, it’s really sad but I just pray we get a solution to this soon enough.

My mom was done cooking when I got home so i ate and now was music time. I come from a family that loves music so much so most of us can play instruments. My junior brother is my best music mate so we took our guitars and played music for the rest of the afternoon which was very beautiful.

Cameroon was playing against Zimbabwe today so we were really anticipating the match, by evening a few friends came over, before the match started my friends and I played a few virtual matches on my computer to predict the outcome of the match which was pretty interesting and funny. The actual match though didn’t meet out expectations because we predicted Cameroon to win 2:0 but it ended with a draw, we were a little bit disappointed but it was a good game. That’s how my day ended.
