Hello my fellow steemians, happy Sunday and I hope you’ll waxing strong. After long week of been in doors I finally left home today. Today I woke up around 6am and it been a Sunday it’s always a busy day for me so I started by ironing my outfit for the day.
My outfit for the day was a black shirt and a check trouser so after ironing I put together every other thing that was needed for my day in other to avoid forgetting something at home, around 7am I was all done so I went straight to taking my bath. Normally service starts at 9am in my church but I happen to be a keyboardist in my church and I am therefore referred to as a worker in church and workers must be in church by 7am to put everything in order before service begins so I was literally running late already. By 7:30am I was done with the preparations so I quickly left and rushed to church.
The service was quite an interesting one, we started with a very powerful praise and worship session and the pastors message was on "Seizing Devine Opportunities" which I learned a lot from that and will sure not let opportunities pass me by anymore. By 11:30am we closed and as most of us know after service is always a good time to take pictures so I took some pics and talk to few persons, by 12pm I left for home.
When I got home I was pretty exhausted but I still had to rehearsals at 2:00pm so I took that little time I had to have some rest. Even before 2pm I was already receiving calls that I should come, I immediately left and rushed to the rehearsals ground. A lot of people were there already when I got there so we immediately commenced with rehearsals. The rehearsals was going pretty well until we started facing power issues and it really messed up our rehearsals until at a certain point we had to stop and close for the day.
We closed from rehearsals at around 5:30pm and at that time the sky was filled with dark clouds almost like it was night indicating there was heavy rain coming so we were all running to get to the junction and get a taxi that can take us home. When we finally got to the junction it was a rush hour, people were fighting to get into taxi’s and given the situation of my town it’s understandable. We were so lucky to have seen someone from my church who accepted to carry us, we were like 8 of us and we boarded the same taxi. The taxi got us to the quarter but drop us at the junction and it was a long walk home given that there was rain falling, after all the struggle we got home safely.
