HOW MY DAY WENT
All things bright and beautiful...! Hello Steemians! Hope you had a beautiful day as I did...?
Waking up to behind the illuminating sun rays radiating in my room, I said my usual first words of the day, " Thank you Lord for another day". I went ahead to take a glass of water after which I went out to draw out water from the well, yea we use well water in this part of Enugu and that was when I took this beautiful picture showing so pretty on your screen. Smiles.
I will make a fresh post on how I found myself in Enugu soon. It's an interesting one. Do well to keep encouraging me by engaging more on my posts. I went ahead to do my morning routine, after which I took breakfast of native jollof rice and then I dressed up, and off I left to work.
AT WORK
Took few steps and viola, I was at my workplace! Yea, my Place of Primary Assignment is not far from my abode. Met few students outside before entering the school, and we exchanged pleasantries and then came the gateman and his usual lines in Igbo, "Nne, good morning, ke ki mee", meaning, "Young lady, good morning, how are you?" And I replied, " Good morning sir...Odinmma(I'm fine). I'm getting to learn Igbo.
It was a great day at work, I had two classes for the day, so as soon as I arrived the staff room, I went through my notes and headed to the classroom, it was an interactive session on the topic, "Socialization". I went on and on telling them the meaning of socialization, it's agents, it's processes, it's benefits and also the negative effects of socialization. It went so well, friends.
After the classes, I went back to the staff room and after writing few lines of notes, i decided to go home, because I was hungry as well, met my principal and told him I'd like to go before closing time as I'm done with my classes, he granted my request.
AFTER WORK
I got home at 12:30pm. I opted to cook beans, though I was very hungry, but it was what I wanted to eat. I had beans at home. I picked the beans and put it on fire, went ahead to peel potatoes to go with it. Finally, it was ready. It was so yummy. Yea, let me answer that question in your mind, "can u cook?", really?? Definitely, everyone should know how to cook, especially our ladies, and the one from Akwa Ibom State. I took it as late lunch and early dinner. And that was all for the day.
Here's my beans and potatoes pottage, looking so appetizing.
After rounding up with the food, I cleared and washed the plates, relaxed a bit, then picked up my notes to check few lines. I slept off, woke up by 5pm. Took up my phone, surfed the internet, just as I said, it's one of the things I enjoy doing. Reached out to some friends, engaged in some posts and finally I'm here keeping my fellow Steemians company with my interesting post. Thank God I'm opportune to retire for the day early today. Do have a lovely night!
