relationship is the way two or more people are connected ,relating with God have benefits which will lead you to live in aboundance,free life a life with total forfilment as written in

James 1:17 as every good and perfect gift comes from the Lord who made heaven and Earth

For you to receive from God you must have a relationship with him by communicating via prayers ,you communicate with friends because of relationship , when you are with God he understands you the language of God is the scripture,to pray to God and hear from him there must be a relationship with him after a personal relationship blessing follow.

how to have relationship with God

you must be born again

Born again means accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord's and savior

John 3:3 Jesus was speaking to the Jews said I am telling you the truth no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again"

If God is not with you ,you can't relate with him it is Jesus that finished the relationship by accepting him he give you the grace and empower you to do what is of the commandment .

keep his commandment (obey)

Don't be a child of God without the word of God , when you relate with God you know the right words to speak and pray and when you relate him you must think about scripture as

1john 2:3 -7 if we obey God command,then we are sure that we know him if someone says that he knows him but does not obey his command such a person is a liar and there is no truth him but whoever obey his words is the one who love for God has really been made perfect this is how we can be sure that we are in Union with God

If you are not keeping his commandment you don't love him when you keep his commandment miracle follows ,you know him by keeping his commandment
If we are asking and not receiving means we are not doing what is pleasing to him ,you will know him by the sprit in him that helps you keep his commandment the sprit in you will be active ,Jesus manefest in your life when you keep his words because he is the words he address everything that concerns the word

trust in God not in richest :

Loving God is the only way you can attract him towards yourself , don't trust in material things ,trust in God not the things in this world some people love God but don't trust him anyone who put material things ahead don't love God further reading
