THE DIARY GAME: UNENDING SEASON 03( 21-04-2021)

MORNING
I woke up this morning at about 5:30am and visited the toilet to empty my bladder . It did not take long before l entered the bathroom in order to clean myself before the days activities. When I came back from the bathroom, my grandson had just woken up reminding me that we had not yet said our morning prayers . At the age of 5years he so adaptive that once told anything he never forgets.
With my trousers and singlets on, I came to the sitting room where I met him and the rest of the family. We said our morning prayers thanking God for the peacefully night and for waking us up in the morning . We also asked God for his protection through out the day and save journey for me who was going out of town for work .
After the prayer I entered the room and completed my dressing before moving to the dining section of the sitting room for breakfast . I didnot take long since I was going for work in a village some 70km from town.
From my house I had to trek a distance of about 500m before picking up a taxi to where I joined in ter urban bus. As l was hurrying to the place to pick a taxi l had forgotten to put up my face mask It was when l coming near the covid 19 treatment centre that an elderly lady reminded me to put up my face mask .In thanking her my voice only murmured as my mouth was already covered with the mask l boarded the taxi and we took quite sometime before reaching the bus stop as we had to through traffic congestion which is a normal situation at this hour of the day more so as the road is characterised with pot holes At the bus stop ,l was the 10th out of 14 passengers .We stayed there for more than an hour before taking off. We drove through 4 control points before getting out of town We finally reach Ndop the chief town where l was going to work.
AFTERNOON
From Ndop l pick a bike to Babalang where l am currently supervising the construction of market shed and an ice plant At the site l went round the structure with the foreman inspecting all the unit and giving instruction and correction where necessary .
EVENING
When we sat to fill the minute book ,a man of age about 50yrs came and told us to hurry because he had seen some separatise fighters parading the area with guns . He had not finished talking when we heard gun shuts. We took off from Babalang for Ndop passing through rice farm . At Ndop l boarded another vehicle for Bamenda This is how today was spent with me in Bamenda Cameroon
