The diary game. Unending season 03. 26/04/2021. A Busy Monday

Hello steemitian it's long that l haven't been present in the house

This morning l wake from bed at about 5.30am and immediately brush my teeth. As for the morning prayers l didn't say it since l was hurrying to attend morning Mass at our local church Reaching the church door l realised there was no car parked there l thought to myself that it might be l have come earlier than the priest only for me to realised that people were already seated and listening to the first reading. It was not a Mass but a service being officiated by a seminarian the priest was no present. At the end of the service l had to go to the parish head quarter to participate in the general labor for the construction of the parish house l was accompanied by some men who were going there for the same purpose

Noon Time
At noon time we were at the parish head quarter and met with more 200people who came for the very purpose they men women and young people The work to be done was casting of the slab of first floor decking The people we met had already weighed the first badge of sand gravel and cement We joined them in the work but met with obstacle which slowed down the work The Mason at site had not completed with the laying and tying of reinforcement ,nailing of boards and adjusting of some of the props and bracing.

Afternoon
With this situation some of the voluntary poepe like my self who has some technical knowledge had to join the workers at site in completing what was pending to done before casting of decking

Casting of the slab started in the late afternoon with mixing carrying and placing of the concrete This was done till about 2pm when everybody was invited for a break and a meal Food was shared including some drinks which took up to 1hr after which work started again with a redeployment of labour since by now about a third of the population had gone

The work continue with this smaller number of persons till 600pm when l got tired and left l got home took a bathe and took my evening meals. Thank you for reading through my diary.
