Hello dear steemians from steem Cameroon! Hope you're enjoying your moment out there. In this post, I will tell you how my Monday was.My Monday is usually busy as a result of work but this other one was exceptional because school has closed. And again my children and my wife have traveled to visit a family member in another community. I had a lot of freedom from not being disturb by my children. It was a Monday to remember although a little bit hectic.
First, I woke up late in the morning by 9am undisturbed because of the previous day event in the church (Evening of Praise), which ended late by 11pm. so I slept late. When I woke up in the morning, I brushed my mouth and went straight to the kitchen to wash some plates I couldn't wash because I didn't come back early from church as expected the previous day.
Immediately after that I took my bath and then prepared a light breakfast (potatoes and tea).
Immediately after taking breakfast, I went straight to my writing table because I had planned of using the holiday to finish writing my project and a good time was when the children have gone out. Unfortunately, when I started writing, I discovered that I had a low battery from my phone since I get most of my materials for writing online. Very disappointing I had to trek a distance of one kilometer to pay to charge my phone so I can use it to continue writing.
The guy at the charging spot was very friendly and he promised to deliver on time. My morning ended with the phone charging attendant.
I came back home around 12.30pm to rest, waiting for my phone to power. I was awaken up by a knock on the door. When I went to see who was at the door, I was surprised to see the guy who charged my phone brought it for me. Although he knows where i live, I didn't expect him to stress himself to that extent. He said, sometimes, they had to deliver services to their customers. Oh , it was unbelievable! I paid him his money and sat down to write for 3hours. The whole afternoon was designed for writing.
While writing, I felt sleepy. I went to rest a bit
so I could continue writing later.
I woke up by 4.30pm but I couldn't write again because I thought I should start preparing what to eat in the evening since I was alone in the house. Unfortunately, I had forgotten that we had a Parent-Teacher-Dinner at my school. Not quite long, while I was planning on what to cook, I had a call from the principal, Mr. Zeno that I should come over to the school to anchor the event as a Master of Ceremony.
Immediately, I dressed up. This was around 6pm. The event was supposed to start by 5pm. But it actually started by 6.30pm. I arrived there by few minutes past 6 since the distance from my home to the school was not far. I was in charge of the mic throughout the period the event lasted.
I had a snap with Mr. Chris who took first in teachers dancing competition with cash award of N10000. Congratulations Mr. Chris.
It was hectic. I came back home by 9pm and just took bath and then went to bed. That was how my Monday was.
