A lot has is happening in a relationship when you first approach a girl you and propose to her it has to take time before she will accept and when she accepts and you start dating her you need time to study each other before you get to know each other well and some take months to study a girl other take years to study a girl and once you are done studying each other the man will exam her whether she is wife material or not And if she is wife material they man will them proceed to ask for her hand in marriage.
Courtship is the period between man and woman in which they study each other when they are dating before getting married.

my experience as far as courtship is concerned
I have seen a lot of people getting married every week at my place and I have had a clear view about how boys study girls before getting married today.
I had a friend who get married and on lasted week Sunday what I observed about him was he studied his wife for a year before getting married to her and he used some many thing to marry her he consider many things before he gets to marry her.
When my friend first started dating her wife my friend wasn’t having anything even money to buy food which was the problem still her wife love him as time goes and her wife was the someone who was always at my friend's back whether the situation was good or bad and she always respects my friend and as days keep on going and God bless my friend.
He knows that her wife wasn’t after his money so he went to his wife's house to pay her pride price from there he set a date for their marriage and that was how my friend study her wife when they were dating and this process is called courtship.
