Brutal reality:22/10/2021 inspiring others through poetic truth

The poem is an indictment on those independent leaders who think that being on the seat of power is a license for perpetuating unrestricted greed, exploitation,crude enjoyment of wealth and total dis regard for the plight of their subjects.
The poem opens with an apocalyptic image of the rain that will soon drown the land. This reminds us of the biblical rain which involved Noah and which drowned the land for 40 days and 40 nights which destroyed the world the rain also symbolises the grievances of the people who are living in pain and misery and are complaining but while they do the leaders of the land are feasting and enjoying under magnificent lights in their Castles.
But they forget that when a cup is full is starts to overflow and also when a volcano of accumulated it will erupt and pour magma on their pleasure castles and also at any moment the wave of Justice can sink the pleasure boat a that the leaders are sailing in because good will always prevail over evil that is the way of they wolrd and one of the principle of life on earth.

Beautiful poem, i studied poetry and i can say this one of the best poems i have read so far with lots of meaning

Leaders are born not elected. If we have this in mind before choosing a leader to lead us then by so doing we will never be faced with what our government have proven to us
