Steem Cameroon Best day Contest - 30th November 2024"

Hello friends, I am pleased to take part in the Steem Cameroon Best Day contest which expect us to share the important moment of the day that made it important to us.

For me in week 25 November - 1 December 2024 best day of the week was 30th November, 2024. This day was so special and memorable to me because it was the day I met in person many Nigerian steemians for the first time. We did not just meet we gathered together to share food, pleasantness and take pictures together. The food shared was sumptuous and we shared some special moments together.

Nigerian National meet up was such a long expected meeting. A lot of preparations and arrangements was done, though I was not part of the preparation to host the meet up. I also prepared from my end to pay for my T-shirt and also pay my way to the venue.

It was an event with much expectations. It finally came and it was such a big day. Since I did not get my T-shirt before the day I had to to go to the venue earlier and when I arrived at the venue I didn't see any one and I was scared and began to asked myself if I was at the right venue. Shortly I saw two guys walked in on moufty and they went to another direction. When I saw another guy I called to asked if there was any event at the center by steemit and he responded in affairmative, so I became relaxed and decided to joined other guys who where also members of steem. I joined them to arrange the chairs and sit to wait for other steemians.

Shortly people started trooping in with their uniforms and it finally became a reality that the National steemit meet up had begun. Not quite long some people drove in a car, brought out foods, drinks, water and somethings from in bags. I went to ask for my T-shirt and it was handed to me. Indeed I was over joy and went to change up and return to start taking pictures. I met with steem admins and curators like @ngoenyi @sahmie @bounaventure24 @okereblessing @goodybest. @goodybest could easily identify me and gave me a warm hug with smiles. Those hugs and smiles I received from my steemian friends will forever remain in my memory. There was a lot of sacrifices to host this meet up, many traveled long distances to attend it can never be forgotten in a haste.

I know that this day is not only a special day for me but to everyone that were there because they were all busy taking pictures with their phones.

The most important moment of that event was when @ngoenyi, @goodybest and @xkool24 came out to make their presentations. The best of all was the pranks gift box presented to steemians by @bossj24. I could see how red the hearts of steemians who received the gifts as they smiled with those gifts. Even though I was not given a gift I was happy for those who received the gift and my friend @bela90 received one and I was happy for her too.

I wish to invite my new friends to share their best day too.
