We ought to sign up to run in this year's local and parliamentary elections, my friend had suggested. I had never once been interested in voting, even though I was old enough to choose members for the government, because I believed that elections were unfair and opaque. I reasoned that the ruling party would always find a method to sway the votes in order to maintain its hold on power, regardless of the number of voters.

When we got there, i had to ask around for directions because we had trouble locating the location. We were instructed to find out where to register at the office of the senior divisional officer. We encountered someone there who provided us information but was quite doubtful of it. Upon turning around, we noticed a canopy containing a woman seated there for an appointment, but with voting registration machinery in front of her. When we got close to her, she ended her call and started helping us. She was quite courteous, unlike most people at government offices. She attempted a reboot, but to no avail, the machines were frozen. She sent us in the direction of another member of the national security delegation.

The policeman at the entrance prevented my friend from entering when we arrived with the delegation because of the dress he was putting on. I went inside the delegation for national security and was attended to after I requested him to return to the canopy, where perhaps the machines would be operating. Due to stringent security protocols, I was unable to snap images inside the national security delegation.

After dropping the delegation down at the D'Os office, I went to see if my friend had finished. When I got there, he was almost done, so I waited for a short while. After we left the DO's office, I had to quickly return home. We were informed that the cards would only be accessible for use in the upcoming elections at the end of the current year. Upon reaching my residence, I experienced fatigue and hunger. I ate leftover meal that I had cooked the day before after heating it up.

I turned on my laptop right away to begin working from home after lunch. Sadly, there was a problem with the keyboard on my laptop. The last time I saw my sister use it, she spilled water on the keyboard. I failed in my attempt to blowdry it. I tried using the on-screen keyboard, but it was really stressful and I needed to finish some critical job at the office. It was still really stressful that I had to use my phone.

I had to turn off everything and take a two-hour break due to a severe headache I was having along the way. I'm not sure how to use my laptop or where to begin after waking up in such a state of confusion. No reputable technician that I know of could assist in determining what was wrong. I threw my diary onto the bed and used my phone to conclude my day early, looking dejected. Till my subsequent journal meeting.
