Accept warm steem greatings from the land of promise cameroon and here is an update report of activities that have taken place from the seminar 1 workshop and it's outreach
With models in MEZAM division of the northwest region of cameroon, in line with preparatory activities for the upcoming STEEM promo fashion show to be held in bamenda in 11 weeks time.
This seminar one was scheduled for models who where based in MEZAM and are interested in being part of the runway during the live show.
The seminar started at 3:30pm as indicated on the flyers at mile 4 nkwen bamenda at SYSY HOUSE OF FAME premises.
SYSY HOUSE of Fame is a community base arts organization who has offered their premises to this campaign for all the 12 seminars scheduled during this campaign ,and also for the models to train and produce their fashion wears for the show case.
The seminar was program for 10 models but was attended by 9 and the 1 absent was due to health issues ,though she indicated her absence and and promise to be part of the next training workshop.
Due to lack of electricity the seminar took place out door with the models assisting in carrying the chairs andsetting the space .
And by 3:34 pm we had the arrival of country representative @saxipedia and steem cameroon community moderator @fombea who came ready for the seminar . @thegreens who was one of the first speakers , could not make it due to other steem commitment beyond his control.
After introductions by the host @peacemakers ,we had the first 30 minutes presentations by @fombae who gave general introduction of the steemit platform, how it works from signing up to posting .
After this presentation, we had a question and answer session which lasted another 30 minutes followed by another presentation by @saxopedia who drilled on , the different tokens, from STEEM, to STEEM bag dollar to trim and further explain steem power and how to grow it.
After this presentation and the question and answer session the 9 models all indicated their interest in being part of the steemit platform. The seminar ended at 5:30 with some photo session of the team
Due to no electricity which had lasted for more than 3 days in this part of bamenda, the models could not sign up as all their phones were dead, so we arrived at a conclusion that a follow up 1 week outreach will be done, by the organizer @peacemakers to guide them sign up and through their introductory post, on a one on one contact basis and those he could not get to, power will be provided , through a generator the next Saturday when we meet for training.
Transportationn suport of 500frs ($1) was
given to all the 8 participants at the end of the seminar.
After the work shop two outreach have been made as a follow-up to provide power to the participants and guide them sign up and post their intruductary post ,with 4 successful account created . And 8 scheduled for Saturday. Below are the links to their post

This outreach has been so amazing as some models have had talks with their friends already and are ready to join the steemit blog this saturday.
It's is progressing though not as planed due to challenging such as electricity which is really a problem, to solve this, I had to rent a generator to enable power for the new steemians charge their phones to sign up and post their introductory post.
2 outreach are still to be made before the next workshop to complete the sign up for all the models from the seminar 1 workshop.
The workshop seminar 1 ,was a great success thanks to @saxopedia and @fombae for the much they contributed at the training.
The week had been very busy and much is still to be done.
More updates will be done after the session on Saturday.
Am open to any questions and suggestions
