My bucket list of wishes

“Bucket list what a word” at the beginning of my early secondary school days in form 2 at Cameroon Baptist Academy Muyuka (CBA) I belonged in the science club, where we held sessions every Friday doing science exhibitions like making of local sugar, washing soap, and detergents, etc.
As being a form 2 student though this sounded nice to me I found it weird but other than the science exhibitions other events at the science club included brain-building games. I love games, by the way, the games we played were; monopoly, scrabble, crossword puzzles, jumbled up text, text reconstruction. Fascinating right? Every week I always appreciated the coming of Friday in school to spend about an hour or two playing brain-building games, amongst those games my favorite was scrabble because I liked learning new words. Some words I learned during that period of playing scrabble were bulimia, binge, kindred spirit, basorexia etc.

One faithful day in the middle of a scrabble game with a female friend a senior of mine who was considered “THE SCRABBLE GODDESS” we played and pulled the strings down the wire until a point where only one last word placed on the board would decide the winner on her end she had the letters A -R -I - S - T - O - C - R - A - T - S Which had 13 points and on my end I had B - U - C - K - E - T - L - I - S - T which will give me 17 points enough to make me top her when all our scores are joined commutatively. Being In form two I wasn't smart I needed one-word “BUCKET LIST” Which had a meaning to win the game but I saw two separate words “BUCKET” and “LIST” and hence I played the word “BUCKET” and lost because she had had an edge over me.

Days went by after returning home from the dormitory for the Christmas holiday I watched the movie “REQUIEM FOR A DREAM (2000)”

in that movie I heard the word bucket list, I was amazed and asked myself, bucket list? Is that even a word I rushed to my dictionary and looked at the meaning According to the Cambridge advanced learners dictionary “ A bucket list, is a list of all the goals you want to achieve, dreams you want to fulfill or realize, and life experiences you wish to experience before you die” from then, that became an important word to me and I decided to draft my bucket list I still draft my bucket list to date.

• change someone's life for the better.
• Go on a safari
• Watch a football match in Camp Nou Barcelona
• Go to the Super Bowl
• Visit one of the seven wonders of the world, like “Christ the Redeemer in Rio De Janeiro Brazil”

• Take driving and swimming lessons

• Letting someone know how much he or she means to me
• Perform a huge kind deed without expecting anything in return
• Making a difference in someone's life.
• Pursue my passion because life is too short

Due to this bucket list I realize there are a million things I haven't done, but by God's help I will make them a reality
