In the world, we find ourselves many people will describe it as a hard world, but with the presence of social ills, the word becomes harder, mean, and evil.

Another way of saying social ills is “Social Problems” or “Social Issues”. Therefore it is a condition that isn't to the liking of some members of the community.

Bullying
Racism
Drug addiction

Female foeticide is the process of finding out the sex of the foetus and undergoing an abortion if it is a girl. Although it is illegal, many people in different parts of the world continue to practice it. Besides this, some communities practice female infanticide; the practice of killing the gurk child once she is born.

WHAT ARE THE REASONS FOR FEMALE FOETICIDE?

With female fortitude being on a rise some of the reasons include;

Low status of women
Social and financial security associated with sons.

In other to stop female fortitude, the government of countries that practice female fortitude has laid down acts that prohibit sex selection and regulates prenatal diagnostic techniques too prevent their misuse.

WHAT IS THE PUNISHMENT FOR FEMALE FOETICIDE?

Individuals caught doing such acts, serve a maximum punishment of three year jail term and payment of fines.
