The Diary Game: A Fun Friday/ Doing What I Love Best (05-12-2024)

Good morning my fellow steemians, How are you all doing? As for me, I'm very fine. So I'm bringing to you all my diary of yesterday which happened to be a day off from work. I was so much elated to wake up to the work free news because I was so exhausted from the previous day's event which was my colleague's marriage. The food I ate and drink I took made me feel so tired even till the next day. There was enough to eat and drink so as a foodie, I didn't let anyone pass me by.

I woke up very late, and managed to do some chores and made breakfast . There was power outage in my area so my phone was off and it made me uncomfortable because I expected an important call from someone who promised to gift me something for Christmas. I stepped out to look for a place to charge my phone and after a long walk, I found a place, I walked in, asked for the price, gave my phone and went back home and proceeded to bed.

I woke up in the afternoon, stepped to get my phone. When I got the the charging spot, the shop was locked and I was told the worker went out to have lunch so I patiently waited for her to return. When she came back, she apologized for keeping me waiting and brought my phone, I paid her and went home. Immediately I put on my phone, a call came in from my coworker who gave me his systems for charge, he inquired about the device and also asked me to bring the systems.

Few hours later, another call came in and this time, it's the call I expected. My friend called and told me he just sent me a package, and it will arrive in few minutes. At exactly 90mins later, I got a package from a dispatch rider who looked so my like my brother, I was shocked to see him. At first, wanted to call him 'Victor' and I just had to calm down to avoid being embarrassed. He got down, brought the package and asked me to sign that I've gotten it. I asked for his permission to take a shot with him but he declined. So I took my package in and unboxed it and below is what I received.

One of the chores I did in the morning was to do my laundry and since it was evening, I went to the cloth line to pull them off but before taking them off, trust a steemian to always snap!

After pulling my clothes off the line, I got dressed and stepped out to return my colleague's system and before heading to her place, I stopped at a POS spot to get money so I could give her as part of my contribution for the week. If there's something I'm excited about this month, it's the fact that I've successfully completed a 10 week contribution which started since October without being fined.
