The Diary Game: Attending My Colleague's Traditional Marriage (05-12-2024)

Hello guys, how are you all doing? Today was an epic day, infact it's the most happiest day of my week, do you mind if I share it with you? Alright let me share it with you all, you all are welcome to my diary session.

Today's Thursday and there was no work! Yes! One of us got married and today was the marriage ceremony, we all had to go out there and support out very own colleague. So quickly, when I got up, I brushed my mouth and bought some few stuffs for breakfast. I bought noodles, egg, fresh tomato and pepper. I made breakfast with it.

When I was done, I went out to go fetch water and when I came back from fetching water, this my little friend did not allow me to rest, he was all over me asking me to carry him, so I had to carry him and we stayed together for a while before I dropped him go go finish up with what I wanted to do.

After I was done with my chores, I went out to go make my nails, the little girl that has been making my nails before now had travelled so I had to go pay money to make my nails and fix my lashes.

When I got to the saloon, luckily the guy that had been making my nails before was on seat so I asked him to just quickly make my hair and do the lashes. It didn't even take him much time because I was fixing already made nails.

When I finished with the nails, I fixed eye lashes and that was in preparation for the marriage ceremony. When I finished fixing my nails, it came out really beautiful so I went back home, took my bath and then got dressed for the ceremony, the journey was a little bit far and besides my colleagues were already calling me to come because they were almost complete for the trip.

When I got to the office, I didn't see any of them, I even thought they left without me, so as I turned a little to my left I saw alot of my colleagues, they were waiting for me, I went out and met my best befriend, we took pictures before we left Uyo to To the event center.

When we arrived, the groom and the bride wasn't even on seat, their space was vacant, but at exactly 4:30pm, there were so much many people in attendance.

We were shown our canopy stand and we went there to sit, I had to sit at the front so I could see everything that was going on. I started disturbing people with my selfies, it's not easy to be a steemian. They brought crates of beer and mineral as well as food and wine for us, me I was ready to eat, honestly speaking.

By 5pm, the groom was brought to the ground by the groom's men, they ushered him in, all the groom's men dressed in unison, infact I admire their dress sense.

After the groom was ushered in by the groom's men. The bride was ushered in By same set of people, when they came in, all environment turned into a very lively place. I even had to go join both the groom and the bride to dance, we made sure we made them felt the presence of people who truly love them.

By 6pm, it was time to go so we could get back to Uyo safe and early, I called plantain chips to buy so that I could go give my little friend at home, when I bought it, I went to where our bus was and then we set back home.

On reaching our office, I paid my transport back home and then I couldn't eat again because I had eaten enough and drank enough over there, so I took my bath and went to bed, since my phone's battery was down, I couldn't make any Post here on steemit, that is why I am doing justice to it today, thank you for taking your time to go through my diary.
