The Diary Game: Being Offered Admission And Paying Of Acceptance Fee (09-12-2024)

My very good friends in steemit, your favourite girl @purpleidy23 is here again to serve you a hot gist of her day, come close let's talk about it, I will make it as snappy as I can.

So guys, I have a good news for everyone, I have just been given admission in the Prestigious University of Uyo, Akwa Ibom state to study Guidance And Counseling. This has always been my dream and I am glad I am stepping into it.

I couldn't wait for Monday to come so that I can go and pay the acceptance fee, this is my biggest opportunity and yes I am not desperate, I don't just want this opportunity to slip off my hands. So I took my bath, wore my dress then asked my friend to come accompany me to school.

On my way, we were stuck at the traffic for several minutes, I was looking for a perfect shot to take and here I met someone that was hawking sweets and other petty stuffs at the traffic so I called to buy but he didn't turn his face, he is a real hustler and I wish all of them will find a good life and live in it with sound health.

The bus was kind of slow, I don't know if it had any issue or the driver didn't just want to speed up or maybe my excitement was getting hold of me that I was thinking the bus was moving slow, anyhow, I just knew it wasn't as fast as I was expecting it to go but at last we reached our destination.

When we reached the school gate, it seemed more like another world entirely, I was shy at first but my friend was just tapping me at the back to maintain steeze and composure. So we went to the Convo Park where there were online services, there I generated my payment slip for my acceptance fee.

After getting my slip, I was asked to go stamp it at my faculty immediately I receive an email that my name was updated, I nodded and left the Convo Park.

My friend dropped me at my place and went back home. I took my bath and slept off because I was tired, do you know we strolled from the school to my place? Yes we did trek cos he suggested we should exercise a bit and we did.

When I woke up in the evening, I went to the local shop not far away from my house, I bought some ingredients I would need to prepare Kpomo stew, I bought them and then came back home.

When I got back from the shop, I started the preparation, I first parboiled my rice, then washed it and boiled it again till it was soft before I took it off fire and then began with the Kpomo stew preparation.

I made the stew to be a little bit much because I wasn't going to eat alone, I will eat, share with my roomie and then with my little neighbours. So after I was done preparing the stew, I ate and gave some to my neighbours. My neighbor gave me this riped plantain as well.

After eating, I bath and read my books then wrote my post in steemit before I made calls through to my mom to inform her I paid for my acceptance, she was happy I finally did it, I was overjoyed and with that I went to bed with a happy spirit.
