The Diary Game: Staying Home And Getting My Dress From My Designer (30-10-2024)

Good day all, it's @purpleidy23 here, today is another day and I was glad I am a partaker of today's adventure. Let us quickly dive into today's diary friends.

Early in the morning, when I woke up, I grabbed my phone and was just going through WhatsApp, then I saw a message where our director told us we won't be working today, it was a big flex for me to be honest, I wanted to do a lot of things but where will I get the chance to? Look at me now, I won't be going to work. So after I saw the message, I made my bed and warmed the rice that was at home for my roomie to eat so she can get to work on time.

The thing is, I wanted to get the dress I gave my designer to sew for me, when I left my house, I went straight to her shop and met her, she gave me the clothe to try it on, it was just superb, she hasn't disappointed me before and of course I love the dress.

When I finished with tasting the clothes on, I gave her to do some finishing touches then we gisted and gisted till I had a call to come back and charge my devices because there was light so I hurriedly went back home.

Charging my device was my biggest achievement this noon because I was contemplating on what to use and work the next day. While I was charging the devices, I made pap and ate for breakfast.

For some reasons, I was really feeling sleepy so I swept the carpet again and lied down because the house was hot a bit so lying down on the bed was a no-go area.

Can you imagine I slept till about 3pm, so I stood up and took my bath as I was already sweating like a Christmas goat and the weather was harsh to be honest, I was even wishing for rain.

When I finished bathing, I went to my landlord's shed where he does his carpentry work to stay there because there were lots of breeze coming from that side. I stayed there and was just looking at what he was doing without understanding a single thing and he was telling me a lot about his life and the states he has travelled to.

My landlord is quite a welcoming man and I like him for that. So I stayed with him for like 2 hours then went to my friend's place just the other street to see her, since she got pregnant, I have not had the chance to visit because of work and some other activities. Approaching the compound, it was like nobody was there, so I walked through the corridor and then I saw her with her sister at the backyard.

At first she was angry with me for not always coming around to see her but I explained things to her and she was calmed then we played our favourite Ludo together, this brings memories of how we used to play ludo back then but life happens and we all went out for greener pasture, though she won me but it was a beautiful experience.

After staying with her till 8pm, I told her I wanted to go so she accompanied me outside the compound and I asked her not to stress herself and the baby because I will be okay. When I got back home, I called her to tell her I was back then took the moi moi my roomie bought for me and ate for dinner.

That was something quite lite for dinner, then I bath and joined my roomie on the bed, it was freezing cold and I was shaking though I used the wrapper I had, that was unusual due to how sunny today was, but then anything is possible with God. I never knew I slept off while trying to vote on people's contents. Thank you guys for your precious time.
