The Diary Game: The Daily Grind (07-04-2025)

Hello my people, how are you doing? I'm here again for the love of storytelling. I want to gist y'all about my Monday, please sit tight and enjoy the gist. Monday started out quite lazy like every other Mondays most especially being that I had no lectures to attend or work so when I woke up, I said my morning prayers before going into the kitchen to clean up the mess I had made of it the previous night. I couldn't clean it up immediately the other day because my phone had shut down and I have no other source of light except my phone.

After arranging the kitchen, I fixed breakfast as I was extremely famished by the time I was done with the clean up. I had my breakfast and did the remaining chores before taking my bath like sweeping the compound, fetching water and also washed the plates I used in eating. I then called my course mate to know if she'd bring my clothe to the library since I couldn't go to her shop to do fitting but she said No stating it's compulsory I come for the fitting so she'll know where to adjust to mend.

Not like I was interested in the clothes, I justed wanted to know if she'd come to school to read at the school library in preparation for the examination. This course mate of mine is always unserious with her studies and it somehow affected me because I'm the closest person to her. Omo, I continued with my chores, next thing I did was laundry. I washed my dirty clothes as the weather looked fair and not cloudy that morning so I did my laundry before getting prepared to go to school.

I got to school and went to the bursary unit to return my matriculation gown, I got back the documents I submitted while getting the gown and cap. From there, I went to the library to read as reading at home is not my thing. I can't read in a noisy environment and my roommate makes the atmosphere uncomfortable for me as she plays loud music and engage in irrelevant conversation with people when I try to read. I presented my library card at the entrance of the library before getting a pass, I located a convenient place and started reading. I read for some hours before taking a break to relax and cool my head.

I continued reading after the break before a call came in from my friend asking me for my location and I replied. In few minutes, she arrived the library and asked me to give her some of the materials I was reading. Since I had formulated some questions, I showed it to her and asked her to answer them accordingly. We stayed there for some more hours reading and answering questions before I got tired and left. I went back home to go prepare something to eat before I faint. While leaving the school premises, I took some snaps to see how I looked after spending about six hours I'm the library whether my eyes color had change or something.

When I got home, I first had my bath as I felt very hot because the weather too was hot and not friendly. I had dinner afterwards before stepping out to buy something to keep my mouth busy with while reading. I bought lollipop and came back home, called my parents to hear from them but there was no stable network to be able to connect with them. I came online to blog before going to bed to rest so I could wake up and read at night. That's all for yesterday, thanks for reading through. Hope to see you on my next post.
