Contest!! Marriage for Life or Contract Marriage??

INTRODUCTION

Hello amazing steemians how are you all doing today I hope all is well and you are all enjoying your day, today I will be participating in a contest organised by @chant with the theme "Marriage for Life or Contract Marriage?"

WHAT IS YOUR UNDERSTANDING OF THE STATEMENT “FOR BETTER AND FOR WORSE TILL DEATH DO US PART”?

The above mentioned statement for better and for worse till death do us part is a very deep statement that comes with a lot of meaning, in a wedding ceremony that I'd always attend I see couples making this promises to themselves on the altar infront of a congregation.

Even though I'm still very young and I'm not yet married but my little understanding about this statement is that it is a commitment inform of a promise made between two people with the aim of staying together and having each others back through out the journey of life.

^{But if you still do not understand I will break it down a little and explain it accordingly so that you won't be confused.}

First of all let's start with the first segment which says "For better and for worse" this simply means that no matter the situation and the challenges in life that there will always be there for each other.

While the last segment "Till death do us part" is a lifetime commitment inform of a vow (marital vow) to always stay with each other till death no matter the circumstances.

WHICH DO YOU PREFER MARRIAGE FOR LIFE OR A CONTRACT MARRIAGE.

We all know that marriage is meant to be a life time commitments but today we see a lot of couples living in hell together and filing divorce here and there.

That is why as a result of all this manace contract marriage came into play and you may be wondering and asking yourself what is contract marriage, but don't worry I will explain.

Contract marriage can be said to be a form of marriage which through legal agreement is meant to last for a specific period of time before the contract expires, this form of marriage is widely practiced by the rich and wealthy people.

So back to the question at hand, if I were to choose between marriage for life and contract marriage to be sincere I will go for marriage for life because true love which is accompanied by real happiness can't be found on contract or any documents.

DO YOU AGREE THAT HOUSE CHORES SHOULD NOT BE A ROLE ATTACHED TO A PARTICULAR GENDER?

No!! I do not agree with that, house chores shouldn't be attached to a particular gender after all before marriage there were still taking care of this chores themselves.

So you see that after marriage and both parties are staying together the house chores shouldn't be assigned to only one gender rather it should be shared in a collective manner.

CONSIDER YOURSELF A SPECIALIST IN THE FIELD, AND SHARE SOME TIPS WITH YOUTHS ABOUT MARRIAGE.?

The term marriage is a big time commitment that is only meant for mature minds and for only those that are ready for it, we can't just wake up one that and decide to get married.

And please do not try to force marriage if you know that you are not ready for it please do not force yourself into it, and lastly which is the most important do not marry out of pity because it doesn't always ends well.

CONCLUSION

Marriage is a union executed out of pure love and not out of pity and enforced with a state of certainty, trust and readiness (in terms of responsibilities) not for the purpose of being seen by friends or colleagues.
