Hello my people. I salute you all. I suppose we are doing so well in our various corners. As for me, I am doing fine but due to some circumstances everything did sound right over the weekend. I regret the passing away of my cousin.
On Monday 24th of march 2025,. I was in school and carrying out my usual daily activities. Except for this time we were invigilating examinations. Everything was going on smooth since morning and I was having a good time carrying this activities. Soon afterwards it was break and I step out to have some thing to eat.
Upon reaching the restaurant, the people were still preparing food of which I was unable to wait. So instead I told them I will return later when I'm done in visualizing the examinations. Back in school I continued with the rest of the teachers as well. Almost the last paper, I got a text from my sister requesting if I have heard what has happened.
I paused For a little while and imagined All the possible scenarios which could arise yet I was unable to depict something, so I got the courage to ask her what has happened. She told me my cousin is dead. I post again for some time thinking what could possibly have happened, am I dreaming or what is going on.
After a while, I keep imagining. This sudden sad news made me wonder why up to the point of clapping my hands in mid-air for no reason. This went further To draw the attention to myself as everyone turns behind to look what was happening. I just told the children to continue writing as I hurt myself in grief.
Later on I asked my sister what has happened to him before she went on to narrates that he was shot dead in town. I have earlier recommend in one of my posts table in the issue of insecurities in the Northwest and Southwest region of Cameroon. This time I was deeply affected by this insecurity problem. This is what led today. Death of my cousin. Investigations are ongoing to really find out A story behind his murder.
Within a week, a program was made and this was based on his burial ceremony. It stands that I am supposed to travel on Thursday evening since wake keep is supposed to be on Friday evening. So I decided it will be best for me to arrive there early so that I can help also with one or two and equally get to sell mourners who comes to sympathize with us.
Getting to Thursday evening, I took your boss from the station. It was quite cold outside there but then we could support it after the time of departure.

At the agency
By 11:23 p.m., we love the agency and off our way. To make sure we have a smooth ride, the driver stops at a pumping station to refill the vehicle's gas before leaving For our destination. It was a smooth ride or along as we got to stop somewhere and eat ourselves and equally buy something to eat. I also take a long with us.
Getting to 5:30 a.m. In the morning, we arrived town people started dropping how long they. Before reaching the station, it was already around 6:30 a.m. In the morning. Dropping from the bus, I took a bike today. House. Upon reaching, I met a few people who have been present there and making preparations for the death celebration.
I assisted in one way or the other in the morning while equally looking forward to eat for breakfast as I have had a long journey without food soon. Afterward, I decide to go to my auntie's place to keep my back where it's safe and free from the population. There, I was able to take a shower and equally took a short nap before getting up and resuming with other preparations there.
We work until it was 4:00 p.m. In the afternoon after doing the necessary preparations which required my services, I decide to go inside and have a rest while the rest of them stayed behind to finish up with meals like frying fish, chicken, fufu, Polish plantains. At some point getting until 6:30 p.m., I took another bath and proceed by getting a bottle of drink to cool down myself.

Later on, I took another nap and only got off when it was already 5:30 a.m. The next morning. This is the day of corpse removal from the mortuary. It was scheduled to start at 9:00. Why rounding up with some morning activities, everyone took a bath and when I hate straight to the mortuary I surrounded up and join them there. Where everyone was in the chapel with the corpse for a short service,.
The driver who was supposed to carry The food items to the Village had arrived the house and was calling Kelly for someone to come and load the vehicle.
Immediately I return to the house and began loading your foodstuffs in the vehicle. Few moments later I was done with this part. Since it was someone who was not used today location, I had to accompany him straight through the village. Upon arrival, The ambulance has already arrived as well.
Instead, I took him to the house in which we will be serving people. We offload the vehicle getting all the foodstuffs and drinks. I hardly clean my hands and rush today compound where the burial is taking place. Upon arrival, The Pastor has already prayed and everyone was moving to Grave area to perform the burial.
I soon joined them there and watch us this activity took place. People cried as much as possible, but this point there is nothing else to do but to say glory to God who knows everything. I feel sad about this but then I can control the situation.

After the burial, everyone moved back to the yard and Mourner's gathered to Feast. Making sure everyone was satisfied, we shared drinks and enough food so everyone that was present. The quantities were in huge amount that it was able to go around and round. So everyone loved the vicinity satisfied.

Getting toward evening, people began to separate to their various destinations, and while the musical set played in preparation for the bottle dance,. So lucky we were having lights right in the suburbs of the village. So the scene was not that covered with Darkness as it has been in the past.
Later in the evening, I moved in one of the houses with my cousin, and look for a place which we could sleep for the night. Before that, We wash our feet to clear off dirt before taking a nap. Surprisingly, we only realize it was morning when the sun race hits at the window. Out of bed, we went ahead to brush our teeth after which we moved back to the yard to have some tea.
From this point, We say goodbye to everyone which was still present and the ceremonial ground and took a bike back so town. From town, we book another bus Which is going to take us back to our working cities.
Returns to the city
Later in the evening, we finally arrived our town. Getting off from the bus. I say goodbye to my cousin when up with me. I took it back to my house why I was able to catch some rest. I took a bath immediately and dispersed my belongings before catching a nap. So exhaustive and tremendous day I can say.
Go well my dear cousin. The ways of man are not the ways of God. May humble soul rest in the blossom of the holy Spirit. Glory to God. 🙏
