The Diary Game//12/05/2024 // Spending my Sunday at the hospital

Hello everyone. Greetings to all steeemit members and steem Cameroon at large. Hope we all doing great. Well on my part my diary won't go as I wish it should be.

I spend my Sunday struggling to battle a fire incident that broke out at my place, which was so intense and later on I ended up in the hospital.

A lot of the details will be outlined in the developing story as we read ahead. Stay tuned and read on with me.

Diary
I work up Sunday morning at about 7:15 a.m. use the restroom for a while and back to the sitting room. I carry out a few sports moves to strengthen my body and motivate myself for the morning.

Afterwards I took a shower and got ready for church. I arrived church by 9:30.a.m. This is the normal time church service begins, meaning I arrived just on time.

While in church I took a seat, and took part in the procession and every other service activity. The reading on this day was so interesting as the pastor preached on the theme ""while your blessings are being answered, be kind to those in need"". He then proceeded to narrate, a story which will tie with the above theme.

By 11:00 A.m. I left the church premises excited and indeed, what a wonderful Sunday it was. Finally got to my home when it was 12:00. I cleaned my house and then later got to the kitchen to make some fries.

I was to prepare plantains fries as I had to leave too soon for an event. Unfortunately, I didn't realize the gaz i bought one day ago had develop a leak on the bottle neck. Right below the stop cock.

Ignorant, as I put the oil on fire and step out to get a spoon from the dishes I washed already, suddenly, I hear a loud sound, my kitchen had caught fire.

I rushed inside unable to touch the stop cock, I manage and grab it from the bottom and struggle in the flames till I reach outside. The intensity of the flame increase and I was helpless. My neighbors saw the flame and rush and open the gate from outside.

Yet still , nobody could come in as the flame was to high. I still struggle in the flames and push the bottle till it was finally outside the gate. Thats where it was aloud to burn out completely.

I rushed back inside and stop the developing flames with water to prevent collateral damage. So luckily I reacted fast enough and I didn't get to loose much stuffs to the fire.

Due to the blazing flames my body became so heated that I couldn't resist. I rush to the hospital immediately and was administered some drips to calm down the heat. Afterwards I was prescribed some drugs to apply on the bruises I sustained.

I got bruises on my right arm, palms, and face. I am currently taking some antibiotics and rub to cool down the effect.

Finally by evening, the heating effect has reduced and I was discharged home. While at home I took a bath, and later on took a nap to rest away from all the happening I just survived from.

Dear diary. I will thank God for my life, and for giving me the strength to battle the flames all by myself. Everything didn't work out for my day as I expected but I'm happy to be breathing.
