Hello steemit, curators’ authors and admins accept steem greetings from this end but before I proceed, I wish to sincerely honor, celebrate and appreciate @saxopedia and the entire steem Cameroon team for their efforts to keep this growing movement live and growing. Yes, indeed music has much to do with my body soul and spirit as far as my mood is concerned. I became of lover of music from birth and I have watched music transformed not just my mood but my entirely for my few years of existence on earth. In moments of depression, I have learned and known what to do timely… its not just about playing or listening to music but knowing with understanding which genre or brand of music suits a particular scenario of depression, stress, pain, hopelessness and others.
Music can have a massive effect on emotions, and that’s one of the reasons why composers add music to films – they want you to feel sad, happy, angry or scared at exactly the right time. You’ve probably chosen music yourself to evoke a particular reaction in your brain, just like when gym-goers put on a motivational playlist full of energy to get them through a workout.

All of this is, of course, backed by research that shows that music can affect our emotions in different ways. Happy, upbeat music causes our brains to produce chemicals like dopamine and serotonin, which evokes feelings of joy, whereas calming music relaxes the mind and the body.

The research also showed though, that whilst music can influence our mood, our mood can also influence the music that we choose to listen to. So, to me @rapharchick I enjoy without any choice listening to upbeat songs especially when the songs are songs of praise, victory, hope and overcoming.

So, my charge to steem Cameroon community members is use music as a tool to change you mind, soul and body from that depressed state to the happy and great person you are. Thanks for being there to read and see you next at the top
