Hello dear steemians. I hope we are all doing well. Now, let us go down to the real matter at hand. We always hear that in order to wake up early we should sleep early.

But why should we wake up early when we can choose to enjoy our sleep a little bit more? Below are three benefits of waking up early.

1) It breeds punctuality for all activities

When you wake up early, you already have a headstart with all your activities for that day. If you were let's say supposed to start cooking at 8:00 am so as to be able to go out by 1:00 pm, waking up early can help you to start cooking at even 7:00 am. That gives you a 1 hour headstart already.
So you go about your activities calmly and in no big rush.

2) You are more energized and motivated

If you are someone who wakes up at let's say 8:00 am or 9:00 am, the sun is already rising. But let's say you wake up at 6:00 am. The morning is cold and fresh. You feel like you have so much energy to do your work. That's why our parents used to always tell us to get up early and do our chores before relaxing or watching tv. Because the know that if we wake up late, we'll already start feeling lazy and the day will just drag by.

3) It allows for meditation in solace

Those who wake up early can testify that it gives them time to meditate. This is because early in the morning, not many people are up. Nocturnal animals are going back to sleep. All night bars and funerals are quiet. There's relatively zero to no noise as compared to the night.

In that silence, one can easily focus on their thoughts. This period is used by many either for Bible study, prayers, life meditation, planning of activities and so on. You are able to concentrate. But someone to go wakes up late will not find such time.
