The Diary Game: 30-06-2021 - My two year hairversary

Good day dear steemians. I hope my post meets you well.
Wednesday came with another sleepless night. I worked on the job and finally submitted at 11:49 am. This particular job was hard, I had to reach inside for extra creativity in order to accomplish the task. And considering the amount of wine that was in my system the previous night, it was a miracle I was able to think straight in order to write.

Today marked two years since I started trying to grow out my hair from a buzz cut. In my region, all girls are required to shave in secondary school, except the Muslims. It also depends on the school.

It has been tough trying to get to know my hair's porosity and what my hair needs. Two years later and I still don't know everything about my hair. When it comes to products too, a lot has been trial and error. Though I really want length, I appreciate the overall healthiness of my hair. It has also gotten thicker than I thought I was capable of.

After doing my chores and taking breakfast, I went back to sleep because I really needed it. I had no job today so I used it to catch up on some much needed sleep. Evening came soon enough with me still sleeping. I woke up and watched some television series till about 10:00 pm.

When I was done, I downloaded some new novels and got to reading. It has been awhile since I last read as I was busy. The book was titled "Masquerading She Wolf". It was an amazing book with an intriguing twist on werewolves. I quite enjoyed the deviation from cliches in this book. In order to finish the book, I continued to read throughout the night.
