Traditional marriage has been one of the marriage ceremony our people value so much especially the Akwa Ibom state,it a marriage Done through the consent of both family members that is the male and the female, the process begins by meeting the Bride to be family and making their intentions know to them.
It a process that requires two to three person from the groom to be family, this process involves buying some items like kola ,wine etc,the v

guest,all this are done before the main traditional marriage is done.
The main day will be fixed for the TM , that is the traditional marriage, that is when all those items listed has be given, that day is called for celebration cause it's worth it,the family,the village, friends of both consent parties will come together to witness the occasion ,at times different culture display their different cultural dances .
Different foods are being cooked by the bride to be family in preparation to welcome their visitors,.
before this day , different groups in the society are being settle by giving them the necessary items, that is the youths, children, women, family of the bride or else the occasion will not take place,all this add to the beatification of the marriage.
