THE DIARY GAME: 02/07/2022 A sunday with Unity Brass Band Bamenda

It was Sunday and for the past 2 sundays, i have not been going to church due to sunday classes organized by some of my lecturers and as well preparation for first semester exams.

I cant remember the last time i stayed home all sunday without going to church even when i am sick, but i didn't had any choice in this case.
On Saturday night the 02/06/2022, breaking sunday morning, i received a call from the leader of our local brass band team here in town, that the entire team has been invited to come play at a nearby church(Baptist church mile 3 ) for the launching of their own instruments as they recently bought about 3 trumpet, 2 trombone and a saxophone but they dont have people who can play.
So basically, the wanted us to come unveil the instruments and train some of their youths willing to learn how to play any of the instruments.

So by 5am in the morning, i was already up from bed. I did my usual morning routines, and around 7am, i switched on my laptop, loginto steemcurator04 account and did some curations of articles from steem cameroon community. While i was still doing the curation, i received a call from out leader asking my whereabout, i told him that i am still at home of which he told me to prepare and start coming as the church service is starting at 8am. There was no way i could get there by that time. So i immediately stop all i was doing, went and had my bath after whicch i dressed up and left without even eating.

Due to traffic on my way, i arrived by 9am, immediately i went in and joined my friends. Later along the church service, we were later called up to come play with the instruments the church bought.

By 12pm when church service was finished, the pastor took us to his place and gave us food. Ofcourse i was very happy because i left the house without eating and i was really hungry.

By 1pm, we were done eating, the pastor gave us something for our transportation which shared as each and everyone of us went back to our destinations.

I left and went back to my place, continued with curating articles with steemcurator04 account after which i decided to rest. By 4pm, i went to town for a concert title "Worship with the instruments" organized by one of my elder brother in the music field.

The program was to start by 3pm, but i went there by 4pm and even thou i went late, they were still to start. The program finally started around 4:30pm.

It was indeed an awesome program as i enjoyed my everyminute spend there.
By 7pm, the program ended, after which i left hurriedly to watch the finals of AFCON. Unfortunately, when i got home, there was power outage in my area, no way to watch the match on tv. I was forced to watch the match live online which finally ended with Senegal winning Egypt in a penalty play.
After the match, i went to bed as i called it a day.
