Steem Cameroon Act Of Kindness Contest - 26/4/22 by @shance-light - club 75

Hello steemians, im happy to be opportune to carryout a small charitable act within this week. Actually, its more than one but i recall to take some pics for one of the even.

A little gift for the celebrants

Getting to work on this day, i was amazed at the celebration that was taking place at the neighborhood. It was noisy . Upon inquiries, i was told it was a birthday celebration. Our neighbor was celebrating the birthday of their twin. Its was their 1 year birthday, their very first anniversary.
The celebration was not easy as they hired orchestra to play round the street in the morning. Before going to work i heard them playing and since it was a village we were all doubting whose corpse removal was it, but getting there i got the real information.

Since we were neighbors, and they told one of our colleagues though she forgot to tell others and she forgot the date, we hurriedly chipped in something to get a small gift for the celebrants.

It was difficult to come up with ideas on what to buy since the money was small and most of us were not aware of the celebration. We took out time, came up with suggestions and finally aggreed that we could get quality innerwears for both since it was a boy and a girl.

Unfortunately the person that went to the market, reported that the male innerwear was very expensive and suggested that we should go for pants.
We didn't hesitate to aggree thus she bought the pants.

Ahh!! She forgot parceling paper or rather the was money to buy. I had to start parading the streets of mile 14 in search of parceling paper. Ahh!! Some people looked at me as if ehh... they were" where will you see that in mile 14"?, just go down to mutengene market. But fortunately for me i found one.I returned happily and did the parceling.

Since i was at work, i didn't had time to go and sit at the ceremony ground so i was just enjoying the show from a distance.
Immediately i closed, i rushed and handed over the parcel to the father

The place was crowdy , i wasn't really opportune to take good pics, i sat there for some minutes enjoying the event before rain briefly interrupted the show. I left for home without ending the party.
