A community is such a beautiful place to be with all the men, women, youths and children.

But interestingly, a woman is the strength in any community buy it or leave it. This applies in my efiat community where i am from. And as a traditional community, it is believed that the male figure has the final say in any and every important issue.

I believe women should also be at the forefront, contributing their distinct and innovative ideas to matters as pertaining the community and the country as a whole.

I play my part by setting up an example myself to inspire my younger generation and even the older ones who had one way or the other lost courage.

I take up leadership positions in my sphere of influence. I remember dominating an active post during my compulsory national service. It was truly an honour.

March 8 every year is that special date set aside to celebrate every woman for she is a conqueror.

Marking this special day brings a lot of awareness and recognition to women on an international scale hence increases visibility and equality for the woman race.

Feminism fight and women's fight over time has been a subject for confusion.

These terms have been wrongly interpreted especially by the opposite gender.

Yes, feminism fight and women right fight are the same. It is all to bring back the rights of women and let their voice be heard as such. Every woman ought to join this movement because it is a moving train.

To women in top sitting positions,
To the CEOs,
To the senators and all you women who stand to defend us and the world,

I say, SALUTE!! I want you to know that i admire your strength because it takes only a strong woman to stand tall.

Keep being you, keep doing the good works and do not let the people you serve down.

My Unique pick from my country is a woman named Dr. Okonjo Ngozi Iweala.

She is an economist and holds the first African position as Director of the World Trade Organozation. A position truly deserved. The first woman and african to ever hold that position.

The scent of a good leader will always capture.

A good leader is known by his/her deeds both in secret and in open. A good leader is sacrificial and works for the common good. This kind of leader is not coercive but firm, carrying everyone along and put ears to the ground away from haughtiness.

This to me, is but a fraction of what a good leader should be.
