Steem Cameroon Best day Contest - 25th December 2024

Greetings dear friends, its another day of the week and I'm delighted to share with you all my participation in the contest hosted here in this community which talks about Best day. Indeed every week we have a special day we call the best day of the week.

In the just concluded week, I consider the 24th day of December as my best day of the week and I'm going to be telling you why I have selected these day among other days of the week.

I have been trying to get my visa which will enable me to travel for my further studies abroad and for the past months I have been struggling to apply and all effort to have that done proved abortive.

As at yesterday being 24th December 2024, I got an SMS from VSF global, a place where the interview and biometric as well as visa processing is done that I should come pick up my visa as it has been approved.

I was so delighted when I heard that because I applied for this visa just a few days ago and from my other learned colleagues, they have applied same for more than 2 weeks now but yet decision with regards to approval of their Visa has not been reached.

So with the news, I hurridly went to the collection centre in Abuja and I joined others whose passport are ready for collection to do my collection. Since it was the 24th day of December which happens to be the eve of Christmas I was also able to go around mararaba market with my kid sister to get someyhings we will be needing for the Christmas celebration.

So in trying to get things for the celebration I bombed into an old friend as far back as our university days and he said to me he is now working with the federal government and if I need any assistance with regards to job, I should do well to ask him. We exchange contact and then I left with my sister.

After getting all that was needed for the day, my self and my kid sister went ahead to bored a car that will take us back home. In the quest to get a car, I met my HOD from the college I'm working and he said he is going home hence he will love to give me a ride.

I was so delighted and I went in. I don't have to spend money for transport again. While in the car, I received an alert of a whopping some of money from my friend who we met at the market and he called and said I should manage it. I was short of words because I never expected such an amount.

So whatakes this very day my best day in the just concluded week is that I was able to get my visa, I was able to unite with an old friend, I got an alert of money I never expected and lastly I was carried for free in a car back home so I don't have to pay transport. You will agree with me that everything on this very day works for my favour.
