Welcome to the last entry of my engagement challenge for the week. I'm delighted to have participated in all the tasks for the week. The engagement has not been an easy task but I'm grateful to God for the strength and wisdom to continue writing.

In this fourth week of the challenge, this noble community has presented us with a very unique topic which goes with the title An Apple a Day Keeps the Doctor Away. It's indeed a very beautiful topic with a very deep interpretation and for that reason, I will be presenting my understanding of the said topic using the tips below.
What do you understand by this statement? |

As I have said earlier, the statement An Apple a Day Keeps the Doctor Away is a statement with deep meaning. In my understanding, this statement means that an apple every day will keep you healthy as the day passes by. We know that those who see doctors are mostly patients or those who are sick and not going to the doctor implies that you are very healthy and strong.
I can testify to this statement as I'm a lover of fruits and apples inclusive. I hardly go to the hospital to see the doctor instead I go there to see patients and pray for them and possibly give them some fruits to help them become better.
So the statement An Apple a Day Keeps the Doctor Away is a true statement for those that put it into practice. Eating more fruits daily helps your immune system to function more properly and when that is working, every form of virus or bacteria will be easily combated by your system if it's healthy enough.

There are many things one can do to stay healthy. As a person, the major things I do to ensure to stay healthy are eating well and performing regular exercise. When you do these two things, you will be very far from the hospital or away from the doctor.

Always I go for regular exercise at least 3-4 times a week and aside from that, I always ensure to eat fruits every day as I use them often as a dessert which helps me in digestion and building my body. This keeps me healthy and I hardly get sick because of this routine.
Everyone must make use of this practice to stay healthy. You don't need to see doctors often when you perform this routine. You will be strong and full of energy and also ready to perform any task before you.

I discovered this very activity from my dad. He is about 68 years old but he is still full of energy and always looks like a young man of about 30 years. While I was growing up, I never understood the reasons he never allowed fruits to finish in the fridge but now I know better.

More also, since he is a soldier, he usually goes out for a morning workout at least 3-4 times a week and that also has helped to keep him up and doing. I hardly see my father complaining of a headache because of this activity.
So I learnt this from my father and I grew up with it. Today I perform sane practice and it has always given me the same result that my father was getting when we were together. Till this moment I have not heard about my dad's compliance at all.

The health benefits of the habit are that it keeps you healthy and helps your immune system to be strong enough to fight against any form of attack that may come with time. Eating good food and performing exercise will be of great benefit to you even in your old age.
So when you become older, the things you have done when you are much younger and stronger will keep you safe and stronger and will attack and fight every form of illness.

Yes, of course, everyone can engage in the habit I have stated above as it does not have any bad effect. The two things I have talked about are eating good food (Fruits) and performing regular exercise. You will agree with me that everyone on this planet can do this thing.
No matter how you are, you can be able to perform some sort of exercise to keep your body and soul together. So everyone can at least take a walk or run for a little distance and that keeps you very healthy. Fruits too are affordable and once in a while, I guess everyone can purchase or even go to the bush to get some for themselves.

To all steemians, health they say is wealth hence I wish you all healthy lives. To be healthy you need to ensure you eat well and do regular exercise. We have seen the mental effects of content creators when they don't perform the exercise with time.
More also, when you are tired, always rest a little and don't stress yourself too much. My friend from India is the person of @lavanyalakshman and will always say to me Simon please get some rest and don't overwork yourself because your health is more important.
Most times we chat and if I tell her the time here in Nigeria she will tell me that I'm supposed to be sleeping and not working. I have made use of this advice many times and it has helped me to keep fitter and mentally balanced.
