Hello steemians. Hope we all doing well. With so much excitement and joy, I bring to you my best day. My best day of last week was the 1/08/2021. This day was filled with activities that I really enjoyed doing. Get ready for it's gonna be a long ride.
I got up very early at about 4am, prayed and thank God for making me see the new day. I immediately started rehearsing a the ministration song which my boss was going to do that Sunday during the service and during the concert in the afternoon. During my morning rehearsal I made sure I got everything right in the key he was to sing on and a few more keys. I did this so that in case he decides to change the key of the song, I will have to adapt immediately. At about 5:50am I stopped rehearsing and had to parked a few equipments such as the snare mic, microphone stand, batteries, drums cymbals, motif es 8 (piano) my talk box and it's accessories and the Behringer midi which I didn't take for setup the previous day. Later, I had to take my bath. When we were all done, we left for service. At about 7:03am, we had arrived church. I immediately started with my setup. I mounted the Yamaha Motif es 8 and connected it and made sure it was passing. While I was connecting, so many eyes were on me. The were filled with excitement because most of them had never see such a big piano. When I was done, the connected my 2nd piano which I was going to use for my talk box. Many people were surprised when they saw my talk box and it's tube. Some asked me how it works but I told them to calm down. I told them they will know how it works when they see me use it. Most of them were probably anxious to see me use this device which they have never seen before in Cameroon. When were done setting up the equipments, Sunday school was over so service was about to begin. When my mum (my boss' wife) came into the church, she realized we were not putting on our face mask. She immediately gave me the keys to her car so I could get the face mask from there. When I got it, I immediately rushed into the church since I was going to lead in the opening hymn on the piano 🎹.
After the opening hymn, then came the praise and worship time. There after, we had the ministration from the both choirs. During the ministration from the youth choir, I was a little bit scared because I was going to play my talk box. I have never done this before in front of a crowd so I was a little scared. As I stood up, and was about to talk box, my boss immediately started singing. I was a little embarrassed that I had to sit down. He probably had waited for me to start singing since but I didn't start. So I finally didn't present with my talk box during his ministration in the service. After the ministration, came the message and then the offerings and later, the service was closed (at about 11:35pm). While people were going out, we kept playing the closing hymn. At this point, my boss told me to use my talk box. Immediately I started talk boxing, I could see many christains turn back and watch me, some youths who were having their youth meeting started staring at me. Some people came right to the front and watched me at a very closed range. I must say I was shy. A few minutes later, we left and went back home. While inside the car my boss and the other guys we were playing together hailed me and said I was really impressive and they enjoyed my performance on the talk box was cool. When we got home, we had lunch (water fufu and eru). At 1pm, we left back for church.
When we arrived the church, we once more balanced the instruments and the microphones. At exactly 2:30pm, the concert started.
After the opening prayer, we had the first worship song and prayers so the program can commence. After that, the first phase of the program started. I had to leave from the piano since I wasn't the one playing for church choir but my friend Emmanuel.
There after their presentation, my boss came up on stage to minister to the people. After a few minutes into his presentation, he then signal me. I immediately started playing the talk box. Almost all eyes were on me. At some point of my presentation I had to close my eye. After I finished my solo, I could get @darrellbass taping my back. It indeed was a great one.
After the presentation, I must say I was a little shy. After that I presented again during other ministrations. At the end of the program my boss asked the crowd whether they enjoyed my presentation. The response was really positive and encouraging. After the program, we went home. Had dinner and then played Pro Evolution Soccer ⚽ 2021. It was indeed my best day💃💃💃. I must say I went to bed with a smile on my face. Thanks for reading reading.

A talk box is a device you connect to your piano, and put the tube inside your mouth and while you play the piano, you are able to add lyrics to the notes you play on the piano

The simplest things and activities in appearance, often turn out to be the best and the ones that can give us more happiness. The emotion and affection with which you tell your story of your best day, conveys much of that happiness.
I love that everything went well for you. I am Venezuelan and I really love interacting with people from countries so far away and learning more about their lives and customs, thus demonstrating that the language barrier cannot stop the affection and closeness between human beings. Fascinating your best day. I loved reading you! A big hug! And many successes in the contest @sirkeyz101
