Greetings my fellow steemians, am optimistic all is well, it is with great excitement that I will writing on this wonderful and educative contest because it is one topic that people hasn't really understand which many people has equally rush into without having a background understanding of what it truely is. Marriage is a legal union between man and woman to become husband and wife. It is an institution that is recognized in our cultures, religions and even the civilized societies.it is only marriage that legalizes sexual relations between people of opposite sex, and means through which many of us came to being today.
Marriage can further be define as an institution of practical learning where one gets the certificate before been admitted. It is one that requires the physical maturity of the spouses, especially when it comes to sexual activities (an indelible ingredient in marriage),and the most importantly is the mental maturity of the couple.

what is your understanding of the word"for better for worse, till death do us part".?

This term is a vow said whenever an institution of marriage is installed and the literal meaning is that the two party(the man and woman) has made up their minds to stick to each other, endure anything that comes in the cause of their marriage but when it has to do with till death do us part, the vows view has been violated or perhaps misinterpreted because the vow is focused on the side of an ideal marriage that is a marriage without violences , absolutely peaceful and that's why the view was that only death was the thing that could tear them apart.

But with the world evolving , it has become very necessary to review and contracts this vow especially the area that death was the only tool for separation. If we are honest enough, you will agree with me that death doesn't have to be the only factor to disintegrate marriage because marriage is never a do or die affair but still that's is not to say that any little quarrel shouldn't lead to separation.

which do you prefer marriage for life or contract marriage.

Marriage for life is what I consider appropriate because that's the kind of marriage the founder of marriage God wanted for us, so anything aside that is wrong. Contract marriage as the name implies is seen as something that has duration and as just can be terminated at any point in time. It is an adopted culture which shouldn't be encouraged because it eliminates endurance and patience in marriage and promotes divorce.

Do you agree that house chores should not be a role attached to one particular gender.

This is the most delicate thing in marriage that if you don't know how you treat may lead to conflict in home when not handled may lead divorce. Let's first go back to creat to envisage the reason God created woman , it is because he wanted the woman to compliment the man and not take over all man's responsibility, that is why in marriage there should be a mutual understanding between the couple as though not to assign everything to a gender , marriage is all about teamwork. For instance a man can wash his clothes before he got married and now he is married he suddenly forgets how to do those things that should be seen as wickedness same is applicable to a woman who has money but doesn't support the husband .

1 For any individual who wants to get married,you should know that courtship has been a waste of time to many couples. Courtship doesn't make a perfect marriage, there is no guarantee that you guys where cool then that you will be cool in marriage .

2 mental maturity is the main ingredient in marriage suffering from it's insufficiency leads to domestic violence , intolerance, frustration and breeding of bad children.

3 if you wish to have a successful marriage you must have the following; the spirit of forgiveness to overlook and find excuses for your spouse shortcomings, spirit of understanding, spirit of contentment which will help you in lowering your gazes and not to seek material or sexual satisfaction out of wedlock.

4 people get married for several reasons but the best reason to get married is to have a righteous partner with whom you will spend your entire life, bear and raise children with support and sometimes lean on and enjoy sexual intimacy in a legitimate way that is beloved to our creator

5 Compatibility
You should should be realistic, as an elite will most probably be incompatible with one who is not.The issues of tribal difference might also be considered, especially when the couples realize possible conflicts in the families. Genotype, religion, character,and personal taste can also be considered. This is a life contract.

6 prayer
The most important ingredient is prayer, it the only we communicate with our creator for divine guidance.

We must really sit down and get things straight before we decide to sign this life contract.mind you age is never a factor,as someone in his or her late teens might be more prepared than someone in his or her thirties.it is always to settle down earlier but that doesn't mean we should rush into it .
